Didn't see any other threads about the Bulls White House visit....was just wondering if anyone knows why Derrick was the only person even remotely affiliated with the team that wasn't in the team picture?

Not trying to start any trouble or imply anything, just geniunely curious as I find it odd.

Rerisen posted some quotes on the last PG thread about Wall wanting to make a statement. I hope we come out blazing tonight.

I wanna see some intensity from our guys. Last game was the worst in terms of not just in execution and X and Os, but in other facets too including willingness to crush the opposition (not that WSH is in the same league as the other lottery teams we faced).

edit-- to add, and not that it's a meaningful "stat" in the grand scheme of things--and games don't solely hinge on this in any way at all, but there's no way that WSH's motivation should trumps ours, after getting embarrassed last year in the playoffs. We should be seeing red (yeah yeah) every time we play this team.

Be nice to see Derrick engaged for an entire game for once.

I normally don't care about this stuff- and I have been a believer in rose all season regarding slow progress back into form, but the 'not into it' comments as of late I think are warranted and I really hope there is a good reason he isn't there in the picture.

I don't even wanna watch this game after the Utah grossness and the way Rose has been playing as of late. Hopefuly this game our guys come out with their A Game.

Really don't want to lose this one. This is why you have to beat scrub teams at home like Utah. We usually come with it when we're playing good teams so I expect the effort to be good.

I'm gonna DVR this one and watch it later.

Don't yet have the taste of Wednesday's game out of my mouth. I don't mind tough losses, as with say the Dallas game (even though I wanted to strangle Kirk), but when the Bulls sleepwalk it takes me a few days to recover.
