A Bulls team at 100%. How good would we be this year and where would we stack up vs the last 4 title winners (Dal, heat, Spurs)

-Assume DRose never gets hurt (or has a miraculous recovery) and is still on par with his 2011 self:
MVP level player who can get your 25 ppg 7.7 ast and getting to the line 7 times a night.

-Jimmy Butler:
One of the best two way players in the game, but is elite defensively and has an uncanny ability getting to the line.

-Combo of Dunleavy, Mc3, Snell and Mirotic:
None are great starters at the 3 but all bring something unique to the table. definitely our weakest position.

-Pau Pau Pau:
He is a beast of a big in the east and will be the starting center in this years all star game. Wouldnt surprise me if he makes 3rd team all nba.

-2014 Joakim Noah i.e. before his meniscus tear:
1st team all nba, MVP candidate, defensive player of the year, motor like no other and heart of the team

Current bench of Taj, Brooks, Kirk, Mc3, Mirotic, Moore and Snell

That team probably wins over 65 games and easily comes out of the east this year. And outside of a healthy Spurs its the most complete team in the league.

We still have time to figure stuff out but i just got the thinking about what could have been, man that is a nasty squad.

Of the last 4 title winners i think we beat all except last years Spurs.

In the other thread I asked about the Bull's record with all 5 projected starters starting. If I counted correctly, their record is 12-3.

Teams first year together. I never expected all that much from the regular season. They need to be cohesive and healthy by late season to get into a groove going into the playoffs. That's all that matters. There's going to be a alot of regular season champions this year. Great for those fanbases/organizations but seedings and regular season records shouldn't matter with this club.

They're equipped to for June & still lots of room for improvement within the team.

We've played 10 games with our starters and Taj, and we're 8-2 on those.

Sorry, can't do it. Thinking about these types of situations with imaginary scenarios just ends up upsetting me.

Eh I still don't think they would compete with the top West teams. Pau and Noah are horrible together and they would still have bad spacing issues with two guards who are poor distance shooters plus a complete non threat (Noah) on offense. Not sure who would have defended Lebron AND Wade if Jimmy got in foul trouble.

Would be an amazing group defensively and on the boards though.

They'd wreck the entire league. This team is massively upgraded from the severely offensively flawed 2011 team that I believe was a top 3 team in the league.

MVP level Rose plus all this offensive help both in the starting lineup and off the bench? I'd pick the Bulls over anybody pretty easily.

Oops... I read the thread title and thought "no possessions, no heaven, no countries, no religion, all the people living life in peace". Sorry, wrong thread.

I agree with kulaz3000, thinking along those lines really pisses me off. It seems as if we will never be completely healthy anytime soon as the team is hiding the seriousness of Noah's off-season knee surgery. It is quite apparent that it is more serious than they led us on to believe.

Injuries and surviving through them are apart of the game. No team is ever really 100%.

True, but that somewhat minimizes the **** we've dealt with. What happened to Rose is pretty clearly a huge negative outlier.

maybe in that "dream world" of imagination we wouldn't lose to ORL at home at the same time giving up 121 points?
