I think everyone's just down on the Bulls right now. Pretty disappointed.
We are going through some adversity right now but I think once we get it together, this will make us stronger in the long run.

Boston's in full-tank mode.
We're in full-crisis mode.
Got an uneasy feeling we're gonna claw and scratch our way to a win. We're gonna make it look REALLY HARD.

Mark it down, we're winning this game and Taj is going to play inspired and finish with a double double.

This is the last bad team the bulls will see in good while, after this one you have hawks, lebron, san antonio and dallas...
The celtics play a somewhat similar offense to the hawks', I think Stevens did everything he could studying Spurs film to copy their offense, so at least that's a good thing about playing them together in a B2B.

We've played the Celtics 3 times now. Each time, it's been close. I don't expect this to be any different.
Trap game. Better not lose this one as we have the Hawks the next night.

"48 MINUTES OF INTENS-ITY!"
team needs to channel their inner Norman's. I'm afraid Boston is not enough to get them up tonight.. but they're back on the road, so I guess they have that going for them.
I just want to see Derrick start to settle in and run this team. I want to see Pau, Taj and Niko tear Boston's FC a new one. I want to see Jimmy get back to being a focal point of our offense. I want to stop seeing the predictable force feeding of Pau in the post and I want to see some motion and ball movement on offense.

This next stretch of games is tough. Chance for redemption. I'm not even entertaining the thought of a loss in this game. Guaranteed win because good teams will knock these games out after a bad stretch. And the Bulls may or may not be elite. But they are good.

I would like to see the Bulls PGs (whoever it is in whatever situation) apply defensive pressure against opposing PGs, starting in the back-court. This forces the other team to lose seconds off of the shot and allow the BIGS to get back and in position to not get beat for easy ones inside. (sound familiar?)
I've noticed that the Bulls get run on and give up fast-break baskets AFTER MADE BASKETS, something that should NOT happen. Again, pressuring the ball immediately in the back court would help here as well.
Guards also need to help on rebounds, as there also have been way too many 2nd choice points, many off of "long rebounds" that carom out and beyond the bigs underneath. Bulls seem to lose a lot of these rebounds, resulting in 2nd chance points.
Lastly, watching some games again for a 2nd time, it's sort of obvious that they are most successful when they get dribble-penetration into the paint, but they simply haven't gotten enough of this.
The "walk-it-down-and-dump-it-to-Pau" alternative justs eats clock, everyone else stops moving, and depending on the matchup it's then up to Pau, late in the clock, as he tends to use a lot of clock to set up his moves.
Frustrating part is that they have a guy who ain't too bad at getting into the paint, D-Rose, he just needs to do that more often.
Brooks as well, since he can get in the paint, he should be looking pass-first and forget that running hook shot over bigs that he likes to use.
Since the team isn't a very athletic one, they need to utilize the players who are athletic.

Yes to all the above. Excellent points and spot on. All of them.

I dont even know what to expect anymore from this team. Only positive thing to expect is that we compete on the road, so hopefully we can pull a win out as we have taken several steps back during the last week or so. Very inconsistent at this point of the season.

Looking to see if Derrick can put another good game back to back. Regardless if that means via his shooting or just being aggressive at the rim.
What I don't want to see, Rose coasting and sloppy just because its not national TV / big game opponent.

I am expecting Evan Turner to play well. With Green gone, he is playing the point forward role and has actually been ok (outside of shooting).
He will never be a player on a good team as he always needs the ball to be effective, but i could easily see him going for 18 6 & 6 tomorrow.
That will annoy me.
