Doesn't surprise me that we're exploring the D League as an option here. We've done it before with Rasual Butler, Cartier Martin and several others.

I'm okay with it as long as Gar has told Thibs to play James or whoever they sign.

Anybody know if he's any good? Might be a small amount of upside to him.

Damion James is actually really scrappy and athletic...he can be a favorite here...

6'10 SF Austin Daye was recently cut by the Spurs...

Can he defend at all? That's the biggest question.

Damion James was a PF in college who didn't have the skills to cut it as a three in the NBA or the size to remain a power forward. He's a high energy guy who has no stand out skill and not enough skills overall to stick in the NBA [or so it appears so far].

He played four years in college and was in the NBA for four years as well though barely played in any of them.

If the Bulls want to give him a look that's fine, but I don't expect a whole lot. He is 27 years old now, so if nothing else, this should be the absolute peak of his career.

This guy won't make it on front of snell or doug in rotation.

Kind of surprised some of you guys haven't even heard of him.

Think he'd be an alright pickup. Tough, scrappy, athletic. We need wing help, and he'd fit that bill. Not sure he'd see much PT though
