Divvying up about 25 swingmen minutes per game

When/if the Bulls ever get healthy, there's still a lot of uncertainty on the rotation.

We know that the frontcourt minutes will be filled by Pau, Gibson, Noah and Mirotic. And we know that the PG minutes will be all Rose and Brooks. Besides that we know Jimmy will get about 38 minutes per game and MDjr about 28.

So that leaves 30 minutes per game unaccounted for. I think Brooks gets about 5 of those playing 2 guard to bring his minutes up to about 20 per game. So that's 25 minutes then. Who plays those minutes?

I'm worried that the answer will be Hinrich and he'll play basically all those minutes and forces Jimmy to play the 3, which I'm against.

Instead I'd like to see Thibs use the next 20 or so games to see if Snell, McDermott and/or Mirotic can earn those primary backup minutes down the stretch. If a contender runs away with the competition, great. If not, only then do you start resorting to Hinrich playing significant minutes.

Well, Snell just played a decent game. He still made some stupid mistakes and can't hit a 3 to save his life. However he played well defensively and was able to score in other ways. So the timing of this thread will lend itself to votes for Snell minutes. I can't ignore the previous performances though and base my vote off of one or two games. I would say 18 minutes for Hinrich, 7 minutes for McD (at least until it is determined if he is ever going to be able to compete) with Snell, Moore getting garbage minutes. If McD just continues to look lost then you give Snell those 7 minutes.
