Temporary GT until I'm off class. Bulls come into Dallas after a much needed win vs San Antonio. Monta Ellis was scoring at will last meeting between the teams so let's see what adjustments the Bulls make. Lets keep it up, Rose vs Rondo

Both Noah and Dunleavy upgraded to QUESTIONABLE for tonight with right ankle injuries.

Chicago starting lineup
PG Rose
SG Butler
SF Snell
PF Gibson
C Gasol

Dallas starting lineup
PG Rondo
SG Ellis
SF Parsons
PF Nowitzki
C Chandler

If they're gonna try and exlpoit our pick n roll defense, then we need to exploit the fact that Rondo can't shoot. Let Rondo get his, and suffocate the passing lanes.

The only reason I come into these threads is for the good luck charm picture. Lame.

So I'll add one:

Image

Why a good luck charm, you say? Well, because after Filomena Tobias (she of 4 marriages, accused murderess, and patron of internet psychics) famously misunderstood the "you're number 1!" sign in her attempt to support Joakim, she has been forced to change her name and sell her home due to the harsh public reaction.

http://blogs.browardpalmbeach.com/pulp/ ... entity.php

And to add insult to injury, she presumably remains the human being she is despite the name change.

In other words, that's what you get when you take the bull by the horns (or for possibly murdering someone, both being equal offenses in the eyes of the universe).

If we come to play like we did last night, I see no reason why we don't win this game. The Bulls(especially Kirk) should feel bitter about how last time ended.

We can't feel too good about last night if the Bulls come out and lay an egg tonight. I'm not necessarily expecting a win, but at least a really good effort.

Thibs needs to be very clear to Rose to go UNDER ALL SCREENS against Rondo.

Are you concerned that Rose is going to go over the screens?

Hope to see Rose try to get some revenge for the OT loss....I'm still mad at Hinrich for that foul.

I dont think Thibsneeda to tell him that. Even a blind man can see Rondo can't shoot.

In all seriousness, I'm looking forward to this game. Dallas has mostly taken care of business against the East this year, but obviously the Bulls are a different animal. First game was terrific, (tho I know the ending wasn't for you guys) and I expect this one to be pretty good too.

Dallas benefits from the Texas Triangle tonight, plus maybe no Noah. Oh and thanks for beating the Spurs for us. Chandler is going to have to come big again with all the talented Bulls' bigs--even without Noah. And if we can have Monta/Butler be a push we should be able to take this one.

And even as one of the biggest Rose critics around, I'm delighted to see he's playing well atm. Hope he cools off for tonight tho. Our resident superstar has had an up and down year as well, but is currently shooting the ball well and in a good groove offensively. He can't guard anybody any longer tho and with our backup bigs being Greg Smith, whom you guys should remember as a complete spare, and rookie Dwight Powell---who for some reason has been getting meaningful run, well so much pressure on Tyson to defend, rebound, and avoid fouls.

Good luck tonight.
