Bulls (29-17, 16-6 away)
VS.Warriors (36-6, 21-1 home)
@

Bulls starting lineup
PG Rose

SG Butler

SF Snell

PF Noah

C Gasol

Warriors starting lineup
PG- Chicken Curry

SG- Klay Thompson

SF- Harrison Barnes

PF- D. Green

C- A. Bogut

I think Doug did a great job of previewing the game here..
.... However, given they'll likely get their points, the match up I think might kill the Bulls will be Noah defending Draymond Green.
Noah hasn't looked particularly spry, and Green's a true tweener with the speed of a SF out there. It's the type of match up Jo might have defended well last year, but he's struggling with considerably this year. On top of that, he'll have to guard Green out to the three point line which will keep him away from the glass where he's most productive rebounding and altering shots.
Even if Green doesn't score a bunch of points on his own, his impact in pulling Noah away from the basket will put a ton of defensive pressure on Pau Gasol and Derrick Rose. Rose will need to stay in front of Curry while Pau will need to rotate and help.....

The two teams that scare me as potential postseason matchups are the Wizards and Warriors, for two totally different reasons.

One of the few games I feel we have no chance of winning. So that means we probably win. Please for the love of god guard Dray this game.

hopefully he doesn't...I would give 48 minutes to Kirk tough and hope he pull a hamstring or something...

We played the Warriors close in the last game, we beat the Clippers in LA without Rose or Gasol...this team tends to show up against good teams.
How about hoping that Dunleavy plays well tonight and as a result Hinrich gets less minutes?

Everytime this board says on the pre-game thread "Easy win", we end up losing.
And when we say "Easy loss", we end up winning.
We are losing this game big time.

I remember last year Taj killed Green posting him up, if Draymond has to guard Noah he can basically play free safety on D.
Anyways the bulls have gotten worse as the season advances so no real hopes for this game, off course there's always fluky wins in this league, I mean the Lakers beat these guys... buy I'm more concerned with the bulls going forward than this particular game.

I know our motto have been losing easy games and winning hard games -- but we don't have a chance against Golden State. We clearly cannot stop Draymond Green and I wouldn't be surprised to see him hit 8 three points against us, with no resistance. In fact, I doubt we'll even attempt to make the necessary adjustments against him.
Kirk Hinrich playing 25 minutes against Golden State LOL.

What will be interesting is the analysis if the Bulls were to win this game. Obviously I hope that happens because I always want the Bulls to win and it ruins my sleeping cycles if they lose in a late west coast game. I especially want them to win tonight so I can see the reactions.
How would it be explained that they beat Dallas and GSW on the road (as well as killing San Antonio at home) yet many have deemed them "pretenders" because they lost to Miami at home? How would it be explained that a team can be so dominant against the vaunted Western Conference teams, even on the road, but can't beat sub-.500 teams from the lowly East at home? A win would just fly in the face of every theory and assumption about the Bulls, and to some extent the league as a whole.
A win tonight should leave us all speechless realizing that 90% of what we think we know about basketball just really isn't true. I mean it won't leave us speechless, but it should. Regardless, it would be stunningly interesting. Priceless even.
So with that I will just say... "Go Bulls"

Kind of related to this game but not thread worthy: Bulls should send McDermott to the D-League for a week if they're close to getting Dunleavy back. Give him a chance to get confidence/play in three games while the Bulls are on the road and don't practice until Sunday (when you can take McDermott back).

Everyone's gonna get up for this game. Our starters are gonna score double figures. Our defense is gonna suffocate. Pau is gonna have a block party. We will never trail the whole game. We'll win by 15.
Yeah wishful thinking

I don't even care if we lose.. I just want to see us put up a good fight. I hope people here realize that losing to the Warriors at the Oracle Arena does NOT mean we're doomed.

Our backcourt has done a decent enough job of matching up to theirs in our first meeiting, but obviusly a ot has changed since then.
Frontcourt has to show up. Can't let someone go off again for freaking 31 points. KYP.
Hoping for a win but this one could turn ugly for us. Depends on how we come out. If we fall on a double digit deficit early (again) I don't see us climbing that mountain. This Warriors team is out for blood.
