The World team should dominate the USA team in the paint, but the USA definitely have the ups in terms of guards, and usually the guards have a field day in these types of games.

Yet another team with a deep front court where Mirotic will see limited minutes.

Very much deserved NIko!
This is the first time it is world vs USA. A good change, I think I will watch that game again. Haven't watch that for ages.

They didn't want to make the World Team frontcourt even better, give the Americans a chance

With Olynyk likely out I'd say Nurkic has a decent shot at taking his spot.

I like this format more than the roookie-sophs game.

Yeah, weird Nurkic isn't in there.
Hopefully the loose game format will help Niko entertain the crowd, I'm anticipating a windmill or two, maybe a self alley-oop. #SerbianSlammer

I hope Doug McDermott changes his nationality temporarily to some Eastern European country, and makes the world team instead of Nurkic.
That would please me.

I thought Iowa was an Eastern European Country? Oh wait IOWA! Home of the Hinrichs
The world team certainly looks better on paper. Nurkic should have made it over Olynyk.
