Was this Pippens most Dominant game?

35 points shooting 13/17, 9 rebounds, 5 steals, 6 assists (while making some real nice passes, looking smooth), and 2 blocks. Playing D all over the place and shutting down/absolutely taking Barkley out of his game after Sir Charles got off to a hot start dominating Simpkins and Foster.

Thoughts.... & damn its easy to forget how awesome Pip in his prime was.

Random question to end the day. Is it debatable at all that Prime Pip when you take into account defensive dominance may have been better than current Lebron? Is 30 year old Lebron still that much more dominant offensively than prime Pippen to overweigh Pippen's defensive dominance over Lebron?

Not saying prime Pippen is definitely better but I could possibly see a debate.

Pippen IMO is the best defender I have ever seen. LeBron has him though overall.

I loved Scottie so much. I had a dream last night and he was in it. I told him don't tell MJ but you are my favorite Bull.

Good thing Krause didn't listen to the experts that told him you can't build a title team around a SG. And if the 2nd best player is another wing, forget about it, thanks for playing.

I was always more of a Pip fan than MJ fan. Pip and Grant actually.

What a great and versatile player. A great distributor from the forward position, very good scorer, dynamic in transition. Then defensively he played about the best perimeter defense you will ever see. Played the passing lanes and blocked shots. Could and did absolutely defensively dominate some of the greatest players ever at their respective positions, from the point to power forward.

I remember him harassing Magic Johnson full court and actually feeling bad for Magic. (lol magic was a fav of mine)

there is an interview on shooting with Chris Mullins on Bballbreakdown. and he gets asked about toughest defender, and he says pippen was a complete nightmare to go up against.

the first play that pippen is guarding him is pretty outrageous- what the hell was elliot perry thinking? Barkley's far foot is on the block and harper hasn't even considered clearing completely. That's like a soccer player taking a PK on a hockey goal with shaquille oneal standing in front of it. No way that ball is getting through.
Okay Brand, Michael Jackson didn't come over to my house to use the bathroom. But his sister did.

Anybody have an opinion on my second question.

Would you rather have prime Pippen than current Lebron?

Essentially would he be the best player in the NBA today if he was in his prime?

No, Anthony Davis this year is still better than him.

No, there is no debate.

The gap in offensive output between the two is pretty much as big as the gap between Kevin Durant and Jimmy Butler.

This is one of my fav Pip games:

Remember it vividly, because I hated Indy so much!

Pip had 40 with 10 reb and 5 stl

Jordan had 44 with 7 ast, 5 reb, 3 stl

Just an amazing wing performance!

90's basketball, PLEASE COME BACK!
