Way to go Kyle, amazing season, well deserved, and incredible improvement as a player since he left Chi-town.
I am no Bulls fan, but I though the guy was going to stay for his career with Chicago at one point.

We should have kept him but saving $500,000 was way more important. Jerry was able to get that knew toilet he always wanted with that extra cash.

Well deserved for him, I miss the guy.

Hawks with 4 all stars is way too much.At this point might as well put in the bench in there too cause they have the best record.I love korver but cmon this is ridiculous.I even doubt this team even makes eastern finals.Who should of made it? Love, vucevic, brandon knight, al jefferson, even rose are all ahead of korver.

Is it possible Derrick could get Jimmy's spot now?

I doubt it. He's played like a$$ for most of the season and doesn't deserve it. Vucevic or Knight would be my picks.

April 28th, 2012:
Derrick Rose is out for the season. We have just been eviscerated in the playoffs. With CJ Watson essentially losing the series for us in 1 single play.
July 13th, 2012:
Bulls trade Korver, who had been ineffectual in 2 consecutive playoff sereis
July 23rd, 2012:
Kirk Hinrich is signed to ensure Bulls have a PG who can get them through the season.

Love Korver, but think Knight should have been in to represent the Bucks.

No. Come on now. That said, Kyle isn't really an All-Star level player. But I'm alright with it, consider it a career achievement award for a character guy who has exceeded all expectations.

Rose ahead of Korver is laughable based on this season's performance... Korver deserved it.

If Carmelo and Jimmy are out, it will/should be Monroe and Knight going.

Regardless of what Korver has done....he struggled twice with the Bulls in the playoffs. The only thing is the Bulls didn't use the TPE for something more useful than letting it expire. You can say even that helped but they could have used something for last two years

Korver deserves this for his historical performance from the 3 point line. Why does he need to put up any other stats to get the spot? I mean, jeepers, Joe frikking Johnson was an All-star last year, and he hasn't been an All-star level player for half a decade.

I'm no expert on the seasons of Vucevic or Brandon Knight, but Rose or Love over Korver is crazy-talk. Al Jefferson hasn't really had a stand out year either, and his team has been a huge disappointment. While I don't think team wins should be the most important consideration, they have to be at least some type of consideration.
Its always a little dicey when you are picking a 12th man replacement anyway. I have no problem with this.

Korver deserves this, he has a spectactular eyepopping season and that is more than Rose, Knight, Vucevic or whoever else can say.
Congrats Kyle, I miss you on the Bulls.

Happy for Korver... although 4 all-stars for Atlanta? Bit overboard. I know he missed about a lot of games, but DeRozan helped get Toronto off to a really hot start.
Anyway, I do hope Korver goes ham and shatters the ASG 3P record. That would be sweet.

I understand he's doing it with insane efficiency, but 12.9ppg for an offensive player is not all-star worthy. This is just a reward for Atlanta's great season. This is going to end up like the Jamal Magloire selection a few years ago. Wouldn't be surprised to see Silver put Demarre Carroll as the next injury replacement.
