Ricky Ledo! Yeah! I always enjoy the Bulls more when they have one of my long-shot, pipe-dream candidates waiting somewhere in the wings. Somewhere far, far from the playing floor.

Tired of this running joke that the Bulls don't make moves. Perhaps they don't make moves that as Bulls fans we actually like or appreciate, but for a big chunk of Paxson's tenure as GM, we have been one of the most active trade-deadline dealers in years past. I think there was a period of like 4-5 straights seasons where we'd make trade-deadline moves with somewhat significant player movement deals.

And the Kings are hoping to trading Stauskus too. What a joke of a franchise. Their scouting team having put in all the work to try and get the best player (who I believe they wanted Payton) but because their owner thinks he knows basketball bullied them into drafting Stauskus and now he is already on the trading block.

Payton would have been such a perfect fit for them, and who knows, he could have been the difference between the Kings giving us their pick this season, though that's probably unlikely since they don't even have the smarts to keep a really good coach with the team.

The Bulls made a lot of moves in the summer. I'd hope they'd address the wing spot a bit more but they feel they have enough right now. We'll see.... I do see after the season being a little crazy with one of Noah or Gibson dealt.

When we the last time we actually traded FOR talent (consolidation trade at the deadline)?

The Bulls have done plenty of salary dumping at the deadline, but we hardly (if ever) make a trade for talent. I think our biggest trade that netted talent might have been landing Brad Miller and John Salmons 5 years ago. With got Larry Hughes and Drew Gooden the year before, but that was more of a "blow it up and get rid of Big Ben for anything" type deal.

No trades, sign Ronnie, get bounced in the ECF. Fairly certain that's the year in a nut shell.

I come to this board for everything Bulls...except trade deadline/free agent news. I'll stick to hoopshype for that. I hate reading threw these 100 page "Official threads" where 1 of every 40 post is actually about "Official" topic. So in saying that...I'm happy to be one of the first to post nonsense in this thread, I'm sure I won't be the last!

KC Johnson's post this morning was classic and so typical of the Bulls:

Bulls willing to add shooter, but not willing to take on any salary and will not trade a 1st round pick......basically Gar gets on the phone: I will give you nothing but garbage, can you give me player X in return? And that's the extent of the Bulls during the deadline......
