Jimmy Butler was practicing with bulls 'trainer' (not sure if it was a doc or a ball boy or pax, no idea) at DePaul at 5PM on Monday, less than 24 hours after the ASG in NY.

Definitely not a gossiper or conspiracy theorist, but what the hell?

He is a machine, but why would he not practice at the new facility?

Maybe a good sign about his shoulder? or a bad sign?

That makes me feel better- but really shows his work ethic. While an article is being written on grantland about which NBA player lived up the long break the best, jimmy is in the gym practicing that quickly after his first asg.

Possible that the training facility was closed for President's day and everyone had off? DePaul had classes, everything was open so its probably as simple as that.

No. Players and coaches have 24/7 access to the facility.

If he goes to the Advocate Center, odds are he'll run into Thibodeau...Thibodeau pretty much lives there. Maybe Jimmy just wanted a low stress shootaround.

In the article about his summer, Butler was willing to take $10M per year. His agent is the one saying he can get more. Butler is already satisfied with what the Bulls have offered. He's doing this for reasons other than money at this point.

“The world knows I love Chicago. This is where I want to be,” Butler said. “I think this is where I’m going to be. After last year, everyone was like, ‘He’s not this. He’s not that.’ I knew better.

It sounds like what's motivating him are his critics more than a max contract.

Been to 4 bulls game this year, I get there right when doors open and EVERY GAME jimmy is always the first and last to come off that court!

His dedication to the game is like no other
