All Aboard the KD Train

1. KD and Rose are buddies
2. KD wants to win, we are in the East
3. KD's handlers would probably like a big market
Step 1.
Trade Taj to Sac at the draft, assuming they finish around #7. We give up the future pick and we take Stein, or we trade the #7 and the Cavs pick to try to move up to take Towns-we get a young defensive prospect on a rookie deal, we save $ and free up minutes for Mirotic next year
If we can't move up we draft a PG with the Cavs pick
Step 2.
Resign Dunleavy for one more year, same wing rotation next year (no Kirk)
Step 3.
We run practically the same team next year, prepping McDougie and give Snell more burn
Step 4.
We can assume Gasol opts out in 2016, but it is fine if he stays too
We have a core of
Rose/Cavs pick
Butler/Snell
______/McD/Snell
Mirotic
Stein
Wouldn't KD fit perfectly there. We could probably move McD and try to resign Noah cheaper too, but that lineup looks incredible. I am sure KD would love to play with Rose, JB and Mirotic-and win titles
