PG: Same old frustrating Bulls

ugh

I cant decide if the Bulls looked like they thought that their mere presence in Detroit would ensure them a win, or if they simply are not good enough

It's time for "Team Meeting" or "Players only Meeting".

choose Snell or Hinrich. This platoon thing is not going to work. Thats not why we lost, but it is one of the sagas that needs to get fixed by somebody.

Thank god we made no trades. Yikes..

Rose getting out played by a no name rookie is not a good look.

Also please don't use rust as an excuse. Every team had 7-9 days off, not just the Bulls

Awful performance by everyone exception of Jimmy Butler and to a degree Taj Gibson

Hard to win when 3 starters lay an egg. Pau, Derrick, and Mike didn't have it. And nobody but Jimmy picked up the slack. For the record, we matched them on boards despite Drummond, but got killed on TOs -- 20 to 10. We don't force many and we have a lot of sloppy passes.

Not the type of start one would have wanted after the All Star break. February is almost done. It's time to get serious, Bulls.

27 games to go...

We were meant to have an advatange at point guard tonight given they were starting a rookie who has only played 17 career games.

That didn't go well...

Derrick Rose **** sucks. Outplayed by a rookie point guard making his first career start. What a disgrace.

Noah and Gasol dreadful too. And if Dunleavy plays like this again then you might have to think about benching his ass for Snell.

I swear, if I see another poster in a game thread say something like "no way we lose this one", or something along those lines, then I'm going to scream bloody murder. How many friggin losses do the bulls have to compile for people to realize that the bulls can absolutely lose any game on any night. They re not playing well enough at all. Next person to go in a game thread and pretty much guarantee a win should be banned :-?

first game after all star break. Pistons play good basketball. We didn't get blown out. You lose some games here and there. Take a deep breath. It's only the regular season.

Thing is you can expect a 34 y.o. Pau and Mike and post-knee injury Rose to have off-nights. That's why there were some talented players recruited to the team. Playing Kirk for 20 minutes at a crucial position (we know Jimmy has 40 mpg on lockdown) is a major paradigm shift for the team. He's a bad luck charm. He's 20 minutes of suck. he makes some open shots, but he's not a "threat" that you guard. Spacing sucks. He can't create. He can't defend. He creates a sense of underdog scrap. Over the course of 10 years I've seen Kirk's intangibles net you 1st rd. let-downs and mediocre 8th seed runs.

Jesus Christ. Get him off the ****ing box score, entirely. You're not giving yourself a chance to win when you have such a handicap NBA talent on the floor for more than 5 mpg.

Snell isn't going to play well if he's subbed in for 5-minute stretches and then brought in the middle of a 4th Q 10-point deficit.

So stupid.

Really frustrated with how little time Niko gets at the 4. For the handful of minutes he played his actual position, the team looked great. Our other bigs all played like piles of crap, I don't know why Thibs feels the need to pigeon hole Niko as a 3 when we all know that's not gonna set him up for success.

And I totally agree with a previous poster, Snell has much more success when he actually gets to work up a sweat. I'd love to see him start.

nobody played well except for Jimmy

Dunleavy and Rose no-shows, still snoozing from winter break ZzZzZzZzZ

Competent bigs still beat up on our soft front court way too often

Kirk Hinrich in at crunch time = blech, need more minutes for Snell

Return to Chicago Bulls
