PG: Welcome our new Captain

Post#1 » by Rerisen » Tue Feb 24, 2015 3:21 am

Snell vs Hinrich is not even a contest anymore. It's laughable. Hinrich should be the emergency backup PG if Brooks is stinking it up, that's about all.

We see yet again what the Bulls look like with another *volume scorer* in the rotation. Which Snell has been operating as in February. Makes such a big difference. Derrick scored like crap and we still won handily.

Earlier in the year this is the type of game we might lose because Derrick isn't scoring or setting up low volume Dunleavy. And then we'd be hearing how the Bulls can never win because Rose isn't the same guy.

This is why you want another guy that can go off for ~20 points. It just makes it so much easier on everyone else, esp Rose, Pau and Butler not carrying the water every night.

On a related track, Thibs has to shorten his rotation. Niko and Snell both play better with consistent mintues and roles. This isn't like Doug who hasn't shown anything all year, these guys have produced when given the chance. Playing 10 guys and yanking people around for random meaningless stints isn't producing good chemistry. Miortic is just being wasted sadly.

People wasting time discussing to death players like Kirk and Snell when the truth of it all is that the Bulls are not winning anything that matters with this Rose.
Yeah, well you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

I don't want to be that guy, but the Bulls are 6-0 in the last six games the that Kirk does not play.. 6 of the last 7 games.

Snell = player of the game. Can't remember when Kirk get that recognition last time. So it's easy. Snell not only he is better than Kirk, but he should be starter also.

It could have been worse for Rose, he could of gone 0-13......

Any ugly blowout win if that is possible. At least nice to see great defense and rebounding

Should have traded Taj. Niko is an equal if not better player when given the minutes at PF where he doesn't have to look over his shoulder.

We don't see this Rose against teams like Washington and Cleveland

I didn't see this game but looking at the box score, it appears it was a really ugly offensive game by both teams. The Bulls seem to have won because they dominated the boards and made a boatload of free throws. Neither team shot the ball well at all -- was that because of great defense, were the teams missing a bunch of open looks, or a bit of both?

Aside from Snell, did anyone else on the Bulls have a strong offensive game? I see that Gasol, Mirotic and Noah all pulled down 10+ boards.

Milwaukee was bad, but Bulls did what is required of bad teams. It was a good night.

As long as Mirotic and Snell keep producing, D-Rose can suck as much as him want to...

You show me one post made by ONE GUY in the last two weeks that says that Kirk should play over Snell.

Strawmen are always fun.

Bulls really played their best defensive game of the season. We really played Bulls basketball this game. Low offense scoring but ELITE defense. Hustling, rebounding, killing floor spacing.
