I wonder if the his recent vacation has anything to do with this. The beach aren't ery good for your knees. I know some one who kept re injuring their knee playing beach volleyball because of the bad surface.

Last Monday: The play where he went back up in the air grabbed his own rebound, and then put it back and landed kind of awkwardly. Seemed like it could of happened there.

Considering his previous two injuries were both non-contact, I'm sure it could have happened ANYWHERE. But, it is interesting that he was playing so poorly in the 3 games back. Also, the mysterious 'missed flight' incident. You'd think a guy with so much time to get back and so many resources wouldn't have had a problem. So yes, CONSPIRACY THEORIES ABOUND!

It would be interesting to know when it happened and if he had been playing with it which may have effected his play. His 3pt shots had dropped since the Houston game then all of a sudden lots of 3s in the Milwaukee game. Wish I would have had the day off, it would be interesting to go back through his shot attempts and see if there's any indication of playing with an injury with his facial expressions. Then again, it could have happened in practice.

I actually do remember a certain play from the last Milwaukee game the other day where he kind of landed a little awkwardly at one point. Can't remember if it was on offense/defense or anything but I did remember seeing it. Didn't look like much so I just ignored it but makes you wonder...

How about a couple months back when he went in for discomfort. Was it the same knee? Perhaps it was just a ticking time bomb waiting to go off.

Last game, there was one play that smelled a littlebit fishy.
Dont know when exactly, but he was dribbling above the 3pt line, someone gave him a screen and there were signs of a comming double team on him. As he was dribling over the screen he dribbled on his leg, and the ball went to the halfcourt corner, as he was trying to save it and he did a dive for it.
In slow motion it seemed like he did a hurt face in the middle of it.
He seemed to be kinda okay after that, but still, even back then when I saw it I got little scared.

These arent your typical X causes Y type of injuries.

There is literally no point trying to establish cause.

This type of injury is not preventable. If you sat at home and at a desk, then yes. But if you are playing top level pro sports...then no.

Probably happened in the MIL game when we were up 20 with 3 minutes to go...

There was one play against Milwaukee where there was a looseball near the floor seats that looked suspect to me. He had to stop-jump kind of quick so he wouldn't go barreling into the fans.

I was at the game 3rd row and had the exact same feeling, definitely remember the play you're talking about. When he got up and started running again I assumed everything was fine and didn't think about it anymore. I'll also add that I'm not one of the people who has freaked out everytime he has fallen this year so I would be surprised if it wasn't that play.
