Bulls VS Tpups 7pm 2/27 ct FSN

Post#1 » by mattyj912 » Thu Feb 26, 2015 7:02 pm

Bulls:
A Brooks
J Butler
M Dunleavey
P Gasol
J Noah

TWolves
R Rubio
K Martin
A Wiggins
K Garnett
N Pekovic

Hopefully the Drose injury hangover is over. We should crush the wolves. Don't let martin get his shots off. You can pretty much let the rest of their starting line up shoot. Close down the lanes on Rubio and Wiggins.

Id like to see snell take 18+ shots if he starts out hot again. The last couple games hes had big first halves, he has barely shot in the second. Butler should definitely see some time in the post regardless of whos guarding him. He should over power both wiggins and martin (especially martin). Win streak starts tomorrow.

Sorry for the simplicity. Discuss.

Won't be easy, they beat Washington the other day. Need the starters (i.e. Dunleavy, Noah) to pull their head out of their a$$es and start making open shots.

Can't afford to play to the level of the competition, but I don't think we will considering the circumstances. We gotta play hard, TWolves are a good team.

Butler and Snell need to look to score more. Mirotic needs to go back at the PF position.

Hinrich is fine at PG if he's looking to play-make and facilitate. But he needs to play with 4 other offensive-minded players like Gasol, Butler, Brooks, Mirotic, or Snell. Having Hinrich, Dunleavy, and Noah at the same time results in 0 offense (though he did have a solid game yesterday).

Snell has been much more productive than Dunleavy since his return on both ends of the floor. Based on performance, Snell should start over Dunleavy but I don't think Thibs will do that.

Once news of Rose's surgery and thus his timetable for return is cemented, I really do believe it will ease their minds and give them a jolt of energy to hold fort until he comes back this season.

Hopefully that's the case, but I was really looking forward to seeing Rose and the Bulls play against OKC.

Oh well, maybe we'll somehow meet up in the Finals.

Seriously, that was the one match up I wanted to see more than anything, because of Rose/Westbrook. That was the one match up, where I wasn't as confident in Rose being able to handle. I wanted him to surprise me, and make me say, "OK, so there really isn't a PG in the league he can't handle."

Tpups? I like it, I like it.

Let's go Bulls. Statement game!
After Rose broke both his knees, I gave up on the hope that we'd make it to the NBA Finals again. It will probably be decades before we see another championship. Hello Treadmill, here we come.

It's the shoes!

I hope we win but I also hope Garnett has a good game. It seems like every time I check the box score on his teams, he has a terrible game. He was one of my favorite players when I first started watching basketball and he has declined so rapidly these past few years. I know he's old but I also believe it had a lot to do with Brooklyn. I hope he feels a little rejuvenated with all the young energy and finishes his career stronger. I still believe he would be a great fit on our team even today, I think Thibs could get good usage out of him similar to how he gets good production from all the new point guards we sign.

Normally Noah gets up to play KG, I hope he does this time. And I hope to see lots of Snellycat and JB together.

And please just bench vets who don't play well!

When this account gets more "And1"s than posts written ...then my life will be complete. And maybe it will be the right time to hang it up. (Achieved on 2017-2018 season)...but still here.

With how we play on the road compared to at home, I wouldn't mind the team blowing some of these games to get a lower seed.

1. We're a better road team,
-it's not like we have a killer home court (some libraries are louder than the UC).
2. It can improve our draft position
- don't know much about the players coming out this year but 2 or 3 spots ahead or back can count.
This is not a moment, it's a movement
