First of all, I do not have a lot of faith that it will BUT,
What if the Bulls finally jell in the last 23 games of the regular season, say playing better D, scoring at a 102 PPG and win say, 17 or 18 of them without Rose.
Then, Rose is ready, willing and able to play when the POs start.
Of course, he will start as almost everyone here would want him to.
Then, what if they play poorly and get knocked in 4 or 5 games of the 2nd round OR even worse, cannot even beat their first round opponent?
Is there any chance that anything approaching a change in consensus could occur as to regarding Rose as a MUST HAVE star player for next year.
What if this happens?

Dude, I'm not even sure what your trying to ask...
but, hes under contract for 2 more years. Doesn't matter what people think or want from him.

As jumpstart indicates, the precise question that you're posing seems pretty unclear. (Do you want to propose trading Rose?) But at any rate, the broad topics of how we'll come together and how Rose will fare, as well as the Bulls' future, are being discussed in multiple, extant threads. Enjoy the conversation in one of them. Cheers.
