No topic on this.
What are people's thoughts, any idea how serious this is going to be?

Praying that MRI is okay and misses only up to a week or 2 wouldn't be a bad thing to rest up his other injuries
With that said it wouldn't shock me if he played next game,Jimmy is IRON MAN
But I am prepared for the worse, this team luck is just well yeah we all know how it goes

Rose, Butler and Gibson all being out a while, damn this team may fall to the 6th seed before we know it. Thibs has no choice but to rely on the young guys.

Hopefully it's not bad. From the looks of it, the injury seems minor. Hoping he's out one week at the most. The MRI is precaution I believe.

Well it said he hyperextended his elbow, so he's definitely going to miss time. I would be shocked if he was able to play the next game.
As with any injury, recovery time following a hyperextension injury to the elbow will depend on the severity of the injury. For mild injuries, recovery may be relatively quick, with just one or two weeks of home care followed by about a month of physical therapy exercises to help rebuild strength in the joint. For more severe cases, particularly those for which surgery is required, recovery will likely take longer. Those recovering from surgery may take advantage of several months of physical therapy in order to make a full recovery.

Anyone know how I can fix it?
Edit the OP in the top right corner of the Post. You may also want to spell Butler's last name correctly.

People that really wanted to see Dougie get some burn are going to get their wish

Don't think for a second that Thibs isn't considering filling the void with more Kirk, and a stretching of Dunleavy's minutes.

Yeah, you're probably right.
Snell is going to be playing 40+ minutes too.

James Harden only missed like 3 days with a hyperextended elbow last year. He even thought it might be broken when the injury happened, but he recovered pretty fast.

If there's one good thing to say about this group, it's that they're well equipped for the 'next man up' mentality.
Play-make through Jo, hope Brooks turns things around, expand Snell's usage and give Doug and Niko a chance.

Interesting...I went back and checked the game logs and it looks like he actually didn't miss any games for the hyperextended elbow.
Hopefully Jimmy's will be the same.

If he is out for an extended period - Thibs will use the minutes to develop Hinrich and Dunleavy for the future.

Taj got injured and Niko had more minutes exploding with a great game. Let's be positive. Maybe McDermott is the next. They are more skilled than the guys they replace.

Why haven't they signed Nate yet? It's more than apparent that Hinrich is done. With Jimmy out for a stretch, we're going to be struggling for scoring. As much as everyone says 'We have Brooks' - I haven't really seen him being much of a factor out there lately.

Never seen anything like the Bulls' injury luck in Thibs' tenure. I mean, he had injuries going back to his first year here with Boozer breaking his hand.
Hopefully Jimmy's injury is minor. No Butler, Rose or Gibson for an extended period of time? Geeze.
