Sorry if already discussed somewhere else. Snell/Kirk will rotate as 9th guy.

Yeah, nothing new here. Hoping we have all 9 ready, including Hinrich. Will need to use everyone at one point or another.

So we will go 10.....

That is a pretty deep rotation...but what can you do? The team is built on depth....so glad Tony Snell finally started playing like a pro. That is big lift.

Normally, I would say none. But they need somebody to be in the cue if Snell is making gameplan mistakes because he is having Snell moments. And perhaps ballhandling. I still don't trust Snell getting the team into plays.

To me, Kirk's "need" would be if Brooks is getting abused or can't throw it in the ocean that night. That would be a realistic scenario to turn to Kirk. Hopefully that's the ONLY scenario to turn to Kirk.

If that 9th is Hinrich, that means we will see a lot of Niko at the 3. Don't like that at all.

If Thibs is going to be picking and choosing between Hinrch & Snell, if Hinrich is the selection, it means Mirotic is our back SF.

That really, really irritates me, especially as we're likely to face the Wizards, a team that has no athletic big at all meaning a stretch four could really open the lanes up for the team this allowing space for Butler & Rose to get to the hoop.

Instead, the paint will be clogged, Rose will have a tough time getting inside meaning more dumb 3s, Niko will only take jumpers whilst Noah is getting owned by Nene.

Ugh.

Why does thibs make basketball so hurtful to watch. If it anything to make me throw up hinrich name being said in a nine man rotation does it. Dude flat out is a has been. Play etwaun already and Snell. Who really needs to see kirk slow the game down to the opposing teams stratedy. Look how teams jumps on kirk when he's in the game. Its like they go from 0 to 100 real quick, real effin quick

I'm not sure if Kirk is healthy but what clearly is healthy is the undying love Thibs has for the Captain.

If he is healthy and playing over Snell, I'll be annoyed.

Snell has only recently started to come around and his performances have been inconsistent. I can't imagine putting him in a playoff role where you really rely on him to perform. Maybe next year. Kirk is the obvious choice this year if only because you know there won't be any lapses in judgment.
The real Derrick Rose is still laying on that court in 2012.

Well if Noah is starting at PF he must be in great health and playing a lot better. That is very good news!

Obviously. Kirk and Noah are laying in the weeds.

Kirk has made some truly bone-headed moves this year, namely fouling Monta Ellis on a 35-foot three-point attempt to send the game into overtime. His intangibles have been vastly overrated this year. At this point, he should just get spot minutes based on the flow of the game.
Scottie Pippen's response to whom he would pick for his running mate, Michael or LeBron: "That's a dumbass question. I've never done anything with LeBron. I wouldn't take LeBron to the movies."

Hinrich has played well in the postseason over the course of his career. In fact, His career PPG, FG%, 3P% and A/TO ratio are all better in the postseason than in the regular season.

Even in last year's series against the Wizards he outplayed D.J. Augustin.

While there's an argument to be made for Snell to be ahead of him in the rotation, there are still going to be a lot of times the Bulls are going to need another ballhandler or another solid defender or another guy who might be able to knock down a couple of 3-pointers. To suggest that there is nothing Kirk could do to help the team is overstating the hatred for the guy

Yeah, was just about to point this out. Kirk Heinrich isn't exactly the type to plat by the book, and play within himself. The guy will make the dumbest pass ever at least once a game, and he fouls all the time when he gets beat. He doesn't even give the big a chance to contest. He just fouls the opposing player.
