Sounds like something that won't be fully healed up by the time game 1 comes around. If we're getting the Noah that we've seen for the past week or so, it's imperative to play Gibson A LOT

It just makes too much sense to bring the guy off the bench and keep him there until he's 100% (Which won't likely be at any point the rest of the season).

Do what the Pacers are doing with Paul George. He's not starting because of his minutes restriction, and they don't want to ruin chemistry with the starters. The Bulls have chemistry with Noah in the starting group but it's bad chemistry. He's going to be limited whenever he comes back, so why not allow Taj, who's been more productive as of late, to start with Pau and let Niko and Noah run the 2nd unit with Brooks in the playoffs? What's not to like about that?

It's the first round. They should just rest him. Paul Gasol will demolish the Bucks on his own.

Just bring Noah off the bench when the playoffs start. I mean all Noah is right now is energy. This season he hasnt had much of it. He tries to make himself a positive on the floor mostly by creating assists.

This would serve alot better off the bench with Aaron and Niko. Noah can cover up fine any Niko defensive mistakes and he can also setup guys much better than Taj could on the other end. It also wouldnt matter if Noah isnt scoring much because Niko would be creating so much space and everyone else can sore easier..including Noah.

If he's not healthy, he will do the bulls more harm than good if he plays.

The Bulls should be fine beating the Bucks with or without Noah. If he's not healthy he doesn't need to prolong it by playing right now.

I remember the 2013 series against BKN and Noah was really struggling with the plantar fasciitis and his game 1 looked so bad, it was clear he was injured. Then somehow, he looked like a different person from games 2-7 and we obviously know what he did in game 7. I'm hoping he can muster something up like that. Even if he's bad these first few games, heck the first series, if he can get it together for that Cavs series, that's what really matters.

It makes so much sense. It would benefit all the players and more specifically the team in general. It just makes too much sense for Thibs to do it tho.

If he does turn it up, awesome ride him til he dies, but it's not something Thibs should be counting on happening. If he's not getting it done I really hope Thibs can recognize it and go a different route.

As long as the Bulls don't overwork him. Gibson's had his share of ankle woes (and he's missed a good amount of days of the regular season resting it up)....Chicago's gotta be careful about that.

You can't have an April playoff season without a Noah injury!

This makes the FIFTH straight year that Jo's been severely hurt in the playoffs

2011 - Plantar Fasciitis
2012 - Ankle
2013 - Plantar Fasciitis/Foot
2014 - Knee
2015 - Hamstring

At this point, you just have to question if you can give him any sort of contract if he's not able to stay healthy on a minutes and practice restriction.

Noah is done as a Bull. He'll be gone by next season's deadline.

Sounds like it is time for this guy to go too. We have to look towards the future. Can anyone say Anthony Davis please?

I am really hoping that Jo has been hiding all year and will turn it up like we have seen flashes in some games.

That being said, no matter how healthy he is, his problem on offense has a lot to do with confidence. Missing easy layups and passing on wide open shots won't be solved over night. His compatibility with Pau has been an issue, even more so on defense.

If he can't be at or close to 100%, we'd better shut him down and hope Gibson stays healthy. That would allow Niko to play 4 only and 6th man off the bench. And also more minutes for Snell (in theory)

Noah was so beast last year. I wish we could have that for the playoffs.

I mean, every team has guys hurting by now. Is Cleveland all healthy? The Spurs looks to be healthy now.

Gibson (high 20s) / Mirotic (high 10s/low 20s)
Gasol (around 30) / Noah (around 20)

Just solves itself, really does.
