Bulls vs Raptors. Summer League 7/16, 9:00CT

Post#1 » by DarthDiggler69 » Thu Jul 16, 2015 2:36 pm

Will the Mayor make his first gameplan adjustment in this rematch?
Bulls tanked the last back-to-back against the Raptors 66-81 few days ago

Will Doug shoot some threes after attacking the basket aggresively first four games?

Will our guards continue to play stupid?

Will McGee continue to light it up?

Need a strong performance from Portis an a few more threes from Bairstow

We definitely need the 3 ball against them. If the guards play half decent like last night, it should be a good game.

@chicagobullsbot: Chicago Bulls Bobby Portis is averaging 13.2 PPG, 8.2 RPG, 45% FG, 50% 3PT in the Summer League. Top 3 statlines among rookies ages 20-below

lol. forget the green? Nobody is playing big minutes and the games are short. Not to mention nobody really tries on defense except in small doses ... or that they're all just kids.

He's going to rest Doug, Bobby, Cam and McGee since it's single elimination. Saving them for the consolation game.

I'm fine with them in moderation. They should be spread out a little. I don't like the 4 games in 5 night thing, especially late in the season. But you have to realize these venues are booked for other things also. Thus, the circus trip and things like that. Very, very hard to coordinate an NBA schedule for 30 teams in 28 cities, with only certain days to work with.

Clearly we dont play well on back to backs. Especially against the team that just destroyed us on a back to back. So I am hoping Hoiberg, if he even coaches, can show he can make adjustments. Its SL, but if he's coaching then he can try a little harder than normal.

Well, the SL is one big back to back.. They have another game tomorrow if they win and I think even if they lose. Back 2 Back 2 Back

I think the team is starting to respond to some of what the coaches are trying to do. The last part of the Cleveland game, they started to actually run some offensive sets. They had a lot of assists per make for a summer league game. The defense also looked a little better at times.

You mean back to back to back to back? This is already our 3rd game in 3 days.
