I know shes the butt of many jokes, but in all seriousness I don't like seeing us take a step backwards with our training staff. Maybe she wasn't the right hire, but I sure hope we replace her and keep investing in quality trainers/physios for the team.

They can only go up from there, there's nothing to regret about that move.

It also means that this is make it or break it time for Gar too because everyone else will have been replaced. If things don't turn around, he'll be leaving to "spend more time with his family" next summer.

The Jen Swanson that GarPax unconditionally supported & backed ahead of Thibs, so they fired Thibs, still had injury problems, so they found another scapegoat. GarPax are truly amazing, they are so obviously grasping for straws, trying to blame anyone instead of themselves.

Does this put Rose on notice even more - wasn't this his girl, maybe this means they're finally ready to dump him.

At the end of the day, we're coming off of two incredibly injury riddled seasons. It's hard to blame someone else for injuries, but she clearly wasn't having the type of impact they had hoped for.

I too am interested in the Rose of it all. Hiring her was his request, and as others have mentioned, her role was to essentially protect players for mean old Thibs. This news will hardly create a headline, but it is a bit of egg on the face for Gar isn't it?

I'm sure they'll hire someone else. They saw enough importance in the role to create it. Would feel odd to depart entirely from it. They read these forums, and I'm sure they know how much flack the medical staff gets from fans. Whether or not they care is anyone's guess, but I'm sure it's in the back of their minds.

We'll find out. It certainly felt like she was hired to keep Thibs in check. Soon we'll know if that was true or if the organization actually believes in the role.
