Good for Brooklyn, but I don't feel like we've really missed out on anything. Happy for Okafor too, hopefully he gets some burn.

As for Philly, I think throwing in the 2nd for Booker was a pretty good idea; Booker has been really strong this season for the Nets. An expiring that gives them some more depth in the front-court assuming they try give the post-season a crack this season.

Great news. Never liked him even before the draft.

Good for him. He stayed professional while getting mothballed. I don't think he was a good fit, here at all, so I ain't worried. Gotta admit, I thought Stauskas was going to be a bad-ass pre-draft. Hunches like that are why I've no place asserting anything insistent on forums. I am a terrible judge of college-to-pro talent.

I thought he would've been a low risk to trade for, but it's not the end of the world that the Bulls didn't get him. I'd just like to see Gar/Pax continue to add talent to this team. Okafor would've helped IMO and we already missed out on Bell and Dinwiddie. None of them are difference makers, but they would help make the team better and that's always a good thing.

Yeah, I'm fine with this. Brooklyn taking him validates his lack of value. The are the ultimate fools gold consumer.

I hope you're wrong lol. I'm rootin' for the kid. Additionally, I want the Bulls to suck absolute monkeyballs until GarPax is GONE!

Thank. God.

One of the best moves by the Bulls in the last 5 years.

Good for them. Baby steps.

That means its unlikely Mirotic will be traded at this point.

I think we should have taken Okafor. Maybe Bulls offered Payne only ...

You guys that are complaining are nuts. There's no bargaining advantage on a new deal for Okafor after the season, why waste time and resources adding a rental?

Yeah I definitely liked Stauskas in the draft. Would consider picking him up for a low salary when he hits free agency, but he hasn’t accomplished anything yet and two teams have given up on him.

This is actually a good thing. If the Bulls want him they can sign him for more than 6mil per season and Nets can’t match. But they managed to get a peek at Stauskas and a 2nd RD pick. In the surface it looks like a steal for NJ

Overall it's a good trade for both sides.

Booker's a decent utility player.

As it stands, Stauskas and Okafor are garbage, and coupled with Okafor's expiring status, in the scenario he becomes so good BRK wants to resign him, they probably can't match offers.

Basically Booker for a 2nd rd. pick.

I heard the head coach For Brooklyn is a development friendly guy. Hope Okafor rebounds.

For a team that was left without draft picks and real flexibility, Brooklyn is doing an admirable job of acquiring young players and assets.

So it basically cost the Sixers an entire wasted season (2014-15) of tanking, which resulted in the 3rd pick and a 2nd round pick to acquire Trevor Booker. So, when it's all said and done... an entire wasted season, the 3rd pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, oh, and a 2nd round pick next year...... for three quarters of a season of Trevor Booker.

What a great trade for the Nets; they move on expiring contract in Booker and get a far more interesting look at Okafor while getting a likely top 35-40 pick in the draft for it as well. That's a fantastic move by the Nets, who I predict will win 50 games before the Bulls ever do.

That season is a lesson in tanking hard if you tank at all.

Sixers were not 1st or 2nd worst team that season, they were 3rd worst. They won 2 more games than the TWolves.

Twolves draft: KAT.
Sixer draft: Okafor

All for the cost of 2 wins.
