Wade was select by the Heat with what the number five overall pick that particular draft class and Bulls got what number seven overall pick. No teams wouldn’t want to trade down when have opportunity to select a superstar that draft class unless your the Pistons

I'm still trying to figure out if the guy who referred to him as a scrub was being serious. Mitchell is the only player in this draft that has legitimate superstar potential. At least until we see Fultz.

Kris Dunn tho........

He is averaging 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Not sure Westbrook is the right comparison.

The thing about Mitchell is he's not taking bad shots, or just shooting all the time. He picks his spots.

I think the point was that a few more losses or few more wins could be the difference between a superstar and a decent starter calibre player depending on which draft selection you end up with.

That said, using that particular draft class is unfair because that was a uniquely top heavy draft. Any of the top 5 could have gone no.1 in any other draft class, not sure if this upcoming draft class is comparable. But I think the point remains, though I'm not one of the people in the panic our season is over crowd.

I don't remember that. I remember Miami taking Wade before the Bulls were picking though.

Yep. Two picks later Bulls drafted Hinrich.

Remember that same draft when some team took Darko Milicic #2, lots of "can't miss" big men in this draft, one's sure to make a team look dumb. Thus dropping down a better player.

Why soon? We still have so many games left.

I think a trade is going to happen sooner or later, but if this recent good play can build players stock, and increase the value that we can get in return as opposed to trading them for the sake of trading them and getting jack all. It could end up being a win (lose enough for a top 3) win (get an asset) situation for us, if we are patient and smart enough.

Except we could have, but Donyell Marshall was the bomb diggity then. Amiright? :noway:

Is there a confirmation with that rumor? I doubt there is any confirmation with that rumor and I don’t think we will never know.

literally can't trade Niko until January, and even then he needs to approve/accept the trade due to his no trade clause. I'm not sure how likely he is to do that either, if you have tanking trade fantasies, maybe dream about someone other than Niko.

Just remember, it's an 82 game season. This hasn't been a good stretch for the tank, but it's been against mediocre teams. Hopefully we make the trade adjustments to help the tank. We're still worse than most of the teams outside of ATL.

Niko and Robin on this team for another month and we aren't gonna be a bottom 3 or probably even bottom 5 team.
