Its a race thing. Even if she's not racist. Look, she's either doing it (while not doing it to whites, and certainly not doing it to the whole host of white athletes and celebrities Fox trots out on a regular basis to talk politics) because she's a racist, or because she's not a racist but is willing to race bait in order to make money off of the racism of her viewers (which might be even worse than actually being a racist). One way or another, she's just confirming this Simpsons classic:

Kawhi seems to be turning into a bit of a diva. What a strange situation there in San Antonio.

he's pulling a rose

and i mean, based on how rose actually played even after he was medically cleared, it might be smart of the spurs to defer to kawhi

Very, very weird situation in SA. Even the Spurs aren't immune to drama.

Never thought I would see Spurs having drama with their franchise player. That's unheard of.

Wow. Major respect lost for Kawhi. Unless something else comes out on the medical, check him off the list of future free agents I would ever be interested in.

So maybe there are legs to the rumor of Kawhi wanting out of San Antonio?

If Kawhi Leonard is done for the season . They would have been better off taking for the whole year I just don't see the Spurs as a threat without him against the Warriors.

Sucks that Pop's low minutes system destroyed Kawhi. Really needs to take advice from Thibs on how to manage minutes. Get with the times old man!

Kawhi's situation has some strange parallels to Rose.

Just goes to show, there are few perfect superstars. Bigger guys get the more power they feel they can wield.

Also winning cures all. Now that the Spurs aren't legit title contenders, maintaining a friction free org is not so easy.

Interesting to see that the Bulls aren't the only team with medical staff drama.

The Kawhi situation sounds a lot like Rose or Deng.

I'm unclear on what the status of the 2nd opinions is. If they contradict clearing by the team doctor, I totally understand Kawhi, and if the Spurs don't try to force him, I'm ok with the situation from a blame game perspective.

Had to sign in to give this post an And 1. Well done sir.

I also enjoyed the politically talk. My popcorn just so happened to be ready.

Yeah, I got a Rose vibe at first with the medically cleared thing, but Deng also ran across my mind for sure. I don't think I blame Kawhi...at least not yet.

I didn't even know Kawhi's agent was also his uncle!

Wow the parallels keep coming. Quiet, mild mannered kid always seen to bust his butt for the org, suddenly seen to become malcontent with his 'camp' strained with the team. Right down to his team losing a lot of talent around him, needing to rely on his return more and more. Major Deja-vu.

I think people might be a little too quick to get on Kawhi's case. He missed the pre-season and a large part of the early season with the quad injury. He rehabs it feels good the Spur's doctors say he's good to go and reinjures the quad again. So I can see why he would be apprehensive about the Spur's doctors possibly clearing him to play.

Trying to contrast this with what happened with Rose is grasping at straws. Remember Reggie said Derrick wasn't going to play even if healthy and cleared to play. Derrick didn't risk getting re-injured that year. Kawhi took the risk and unfortunately got hurt again that's a big difference.

How is it not similar when Kawhi is also cleared to play by team doctors but isn't just like Derrick?

And when via reports from Woj its not just about his health, and there are rumblings he's not happy with the situation just like Reggie and Derrick?
