Wanted to start talking about next game. Mods feel free to sticky/merge.

Early questions:
- Will Lavine play?
- Will Valentine play?

Add in... Does Wendell start? Or does that take another dump from RoLo?

In my opinion:
- Sit Lavine. Let the bruise or contusion, whatever it was, heal. No reason to play in a meaningless preseason game
- I think Valentine should play, right? It was originally said a week he would be out. It's been over a week now.
- And I'd start Carter. I don't see any reason to keep starting Lopez

I also wish there were a way to not start Holiday.

Sit anyone who isn't 100% and ready to play. It's not like Val and Lavine are rookies who needs the preseason experience.

Less preseason games is probably good for the players, but kinda sucks as a fan to wait so long between games. I've had to linger on that damn Bucks game for long enough already.

Hope to see a better effort this week. It's gonna be important for this team for Dunn and LaVine to bring intensity every night because they will set the tempo for the starters. Bobby brings it every night so I don't worry about him

is it just me or does the board seem kinda slow? I guess from a real news perspective it's one of the slowest times of the year still.

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

It will pick up soon. But the best time on the boards is before the trade deadline, during the playoffs and the last week's before the draft and free agency.

I think Lauri going down was a gut punch to fans' enthusiasm.

Yeah, I was about to buy the Bulls league pass, but now I might wait a few months.

yea I don't know if I'm getting league pass this year. Honestly 95% of the time the free stream is as good or even better in some cases. League pass on the PS4 last year sucked and that's the only reason I got it so I could easily watch on my big screen.

I probably will not get to see this. About 6 months ago I dropped out of broadcast cable tv all together.

Its one of the better decisions I have made in my life, (I will miss out on some sports games), but after about 2 weeks of adjustment I did not miss it one bit, and have been far more productive in my life

Watching less content was my goal, but to be honest I'm watching almost just as much. I'm just watching higher educational content now on demand, rather than sitting like a mindless individual in front of the tv.

I hooked up a hd antenna to the house, and got a Netflix subscription. (And stuck a centralized finger up towards the pay broadcasts). I'm watching more documentaries, and less junk.

After a few months it seems normal, and I will never consider going back.

Happy to hear you're being more productive!

You don't need cable TV anyways to watch bulls games :D

People just don't seem to he excited about this team. Hardly much talk about them on local sports radio either. Not yet anyways.

I haven't had a TV at all for 6 months. It's amazing how much drivel we can distract ourselves with. Obviously I still watch a lot of basketball on my PC, not the most productive thing but at least I enjoy it, but it's nice even just to cut out the ads and not waste any more time than we need to. It's improved the quality of ny news consumption immensely also.

I've got the league pass, just to watch the Bulls play, and mostly to see Markkanen play. Wasn't he in the NBA, I wouldn't have a league pass.

Sure, I could get the games from Reddit or somewhere, but since there is a commercial product and I'm going to watch most if not all of the Bulls games, I'll pay.

But back on the topic: I'm intrigued to see which Bulls team comes out against the Hornets: the somewhat promising one that played the Pels, or the embarrassing mess that "played" against the Bucks.

Also interested to see Parker, whether he looks like getting his game together or not. I'm not making long term conclusions based on two (or three) pre-season games, but if he continues like this, he won't get paid next season. It just looks like the airline lost his game sonewhere between Milwaukee and Chicago.
From the basketball's perspective, travel is a nice pause from being pounded to the floor.

We play M W F this week. Fred is coaching for his job. I expect to see better play and changes if we don't see it.

I haven't had a TV for over ten years. Any movie I might be interested in I can see at a theater or on my PC, any sports I might be interested in watching I can see on my PC or at a bar, and that about covers it.

Been a happy customer of Int'l LP for 6 years now. Tried Ballstreams when they were around but I honestly got less stuttering from ILP. And ~$15 per year to watch every single NBA game is just too good to pass up.
