And if they expected Jabari to be a guy like that then they are truly out of touch.

Yup. This, by the way, was Pat Riley's vision 35 years ago -- a team of five 6' 8" guys who could run the floor, dribble, pass, and shoot. As far as I know, he was the first guy to predict that would be the direction of the league.

Well credit to Krause too. As far as I recall from my readings, as a scout he was fascinated with Phil Jackson (Knicks) long before he gave him a coaching job... and the idea of lanky multi-position hybrid players was always on his mind, thus the Pippen/Grant/Kukoc picks.

I think Max has a point too. Klay wasn’t going to be stopped. Personally, I don't think any team would have beaten the warriorsast night...but I agree with Stephen A as well.

ty lue was fired and he has a championship and 3 straight finals under his belt.

there is really nothing there that justifies fred hoiberg still having a job right now. your team cant look that bad, and he has had years to create an identity. enough excuses are being made for him. im not saying he needed to win that game, we know that was a tough task, but you cant look like your not even a nba team.

a lot of this is on garpax, they should have brought back nwaba, over blakeney, shaq should be getting more than garbage time minutes, understand injuries, but we had a coach who dealt with injuries consistently and still had his team playing hard and competing. but thibs was let go. now we are getting clowned on national tv, you got to let fred go.

Stephen A is all theatrics, his only actual suggestion was "well foul Klay. Foul him." Not a great solution imo. He failed to mention the Bulls had 4 players out including two key starters. He actually admitted he had no idea who was on our team besides from LaVine, Jabari and Wendell.

FYI we have seen Fred coach a "better team" and it was still not good. He isnt a good coach. No reason to keep him.

Whatever. Fred isn't a great coach, but what happened with Klay shooting lights out is at the bottom of the list as to why he should be fired. Seriously?

Good players score points, there is only so much you can do as a defensive player. This is the same whether it's the current limitless defensive era, to when it was all about defense. Sometimes players get hot, and it's impossible to defend them.

I read or heard somewhere that Klay had the ball in his hands a total of like 90 seconds or something along the lines, that's just crazy.

I assume Jim Boylen takes over and then they do a proper search during the off season.

Hoiberg has to be fired NOW. There is no reason for him to be here.

Your right Lue and so many other coaches in every sport get fired for something minor.Fred could of/should of gotten fired a month into his first season. He was bad from the right beginning and has been bad the whole time as a bulls coach. Nothing justifies not firing him.

The one and only reason he was brought here and reason he’s still here is because he is Paxsons puppet. Fred doesn’t argue with them, listens and follows orders. Most of the rotation decisions are made by Paxson not Fred. So much easier for pax to have him instead of a thibs or a del negro who he clashed with. This though is not a reason to keep him around,it’s gotten to a point where it’s a joke.

I’m just hoping reinsdorf steps in to do what needs to be done. Find a real coach!!! He was a mistake move on already!! Fred himself definitely understands that he doesn’t belong there but won’t leave that money behind.

I've concluded that Fred will never be adequate as a coach because his heart condition prevents him from expressing anger when it's called for. I don't blame him whatsoever, he's trying to coach without being able to use the tool of anger. For this reason even if no other, he should be let go. I'm fine if they want to keep him in a front office capacity.

Honestly though, there basically is nothing that pushes Fred past his current contract.

Which is why they will let him finish out the year and contract in my opinion. Paxson and Gar are completely immune to the fact that he was hand picked to improve this team and the whole thing was a failure.

The thing I have said before is that Thibs - who dealt with far worse injuries still found a way to get his guys to step up and win. The team still had an identity even with guys out.

Its been 4 years now and I still dont know what we are ultimately trying to do other than shoot quicker. And the defense has been completely lost the last 2 seasons.
