Don't forget "cash". Once "cash" is involved with this team, you know they're making the trade. I don't see the need to get him and doubt he gets any PT

I expect the pick will be so protected as to never convey, but this is an lol headline.

They're waiving him anyway.

Chicago leads the league in trading second round picks for cash.

Chicago also leads the league in trades for the guy named "cash".

Don't we have the rights to any international players drafted 15 years ago so as to not have to even tease the thought of trading yet another 2nd round pick

Also why are they helping Morey do anything

Hah. KC said they're already waving him... and Marshon Brooks. Looks like our boys just sold another second rounder. It's almost comical at this point.

There are probably a bunch of conditions on the pick so that it won't convey, but it's still ridiculous. Other teams take on bad contracts and give opponents salary cap relief so that they can get assets that turn into players. The Bulls are cool with whoring their salary cap room out for a few bucks.

Here we go with the trading picks for cash crap again. Could've sworn we were a rebuilding team that'd also not hitting for cash.

It's probably like Top 59 protected or something. Sounds like an ownership deal.

Basically: Nothing to see here.

He's baaaaack!!!

Image

Man Syracuse has dumped some serious trash on the NBA
Guy loses his job to Austin Rivers in like 1 week.
Everyone hates Austin Rivers but the guy seems to have relished that villian role.
Him and CP3 on the same team again is a mind blower - but CP3 needs him. Talk about irony.

So HOU has an extra 2 mil and needs another PG.......
You know Morey's looking for a guy who wants to go up against GSW

Did they just clear a spot to sign McCaw?

We have to learn the protections on the pick first but those were my initial thoughts, but a business deal between owners does make more sense imo.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

I definitely want to see the details on this. I wouldn't be surprised if the protections weren't that heavy. This team doesn't seem to value 2nds.
