We sat Porter and played for the bench major minutes. Both were tanking. Phoenix just sucks.

They are a PG away from being better than the Bulls.

We are a point guard away too so what's your point?

I think it's pretty clear who needs to be benched for us to lose out and it's not Lavine...

Lopez isn't getting benched. I'm fine with the 4th slot. Highly unlikely we pass Atlanta with way we are playing and I guess a slight chance Cleveland might pass us. Sucks that we have to play the Knicks twice though. Those will be wins.

Effectively, moving up a couple of draft slots, from where we are now to the 2nd slot, means that a "bad" result from the lottery improves from the 7th to 5th slot. There's precious little difference between a #7 and a #5, based on how those selections have performed historically.

I understand that people need to find something important when watching a game, but man, this really isn't.

Cavs have a whole bunch of L’s coming up, and Suns know what they’re doing nursing Oubre, Warren, etc.

It’s not worth trying to out-tank them. They’re pros at tanking- Bulls have too much pride. Stakes are not high like in last year’s silly Kilpatrick run.

Just play half the games with Dunn-Felicio-Luwawu oriented line-ups, finish out with 3 or 4 more wins to draw 4th place.

I'm amazed our guards don't show more frustration each time Felicio bobbles their pass.

You did this on purpose. You're a sick puppy, mister.

Yeah, sure sometimes the difference is negligible, but sometimes it does matter. I mean the difference between 5 and 7 is Dwyane Wade and Kirk Hinrich. The bottom line is that when you're rebuilding, you want the best chance to get the best players and for that reason, it's just better for us to have the 3rd worse record.

Obviously it is, but it is not worth worrying about with the new odds. 4th is still really good with the new regulations.

I don't think anyone is losing sleep over it, but this continues being rehashed because of all the posters who keep arguing that there's really no difference between the 1-4. I understand what all the percentages are, but it's just a factually inaccurate to make such an argument.

shaq harrison is who i thought dunn would become as a on ball defender while being a quality starting pg.

crazy this front office was ready to trade jimmy for the 5th pick and the chance to draft dunn the year before we actually traded jimmy. how fortunate were we that we waited another year, and got lavine and lauri out the jimmy deal.

To be fair to Shaq, he's been decent offensively the last few games - shooting 53% fg%, with 3asts/1TO. His ft% is bad at 63% and he can't shoot 3's, but all-in-all, I'd take that level of offensive performance from a defensive specialist off-the-bench. You just need to have enough shooters on the floor that he's your 5th option on offense.
