Bout time, i have no problem with the current screen but at games i always look at it and compare it to other arenas. Nice that the UC will get to showcase it for the all star game.

Now we know where all those Cash Considerations trades were really aiming at.

I jest, that'll be a nice spectacle so long as the drop down screens never accidentally trigger during a game.

The underneath ribbon screens inside the bottom of the board are nice additions for those times sitting close to or on the floor, but, hopefully the perspective of the render is off as it looks awkwardly big.

It could definitely use the update.

Can we also focus the lights on center court instead of the general wash throughout the arena?

This makes me wonder - since the UC is 25 years old this year - how much longer it'll last before TPTB want a new arena.

They just added on the Advocate Center, and it's the house Jordan built.

I think the UC is going to be around at least another 20-30 years.

Gots to have the upgraded scoreboard to better show off the Lauri to Zach to, while catching the alleyoop in air, alley oop to Zion ......

It's still the biggest arena in the league, has plenty of luxury booths, and the common spaces have been massively improved in recent years. I agree it's set up well for the future.

It's certainly aged better than New Comiskey (even though they've done as much as they can to make New Comiskey better).

I have been asking for the upgrade for a while now.

The current one is soooooo outdated and so meh that I wanted to have it changed for the last few years. Finally, they listened to fans (maybe) and decided to change it.

Just in time, we get Zion this year and have 2 all-stars next year and All-star festivities is in Chicago too. Love it!!!

Wow, that thing looks absurdly larger than the existing jumbotron. That's impressive, and almost seems unnecessary.

That said, four years ago I bought a projector and a 116" screen for my modest apartment living room, much to the teasing of my friends. Whatever, peons, now your 70" plasmas look like gameboy screens. So yeah bigger, faster, stronger, better all the way!

It's essentially been rebuilt over the last 5 years so it'll be good for a long time.
