Looking forward to seeing how White and Carter Jr look together. The two of them building some chemistry could be a great sign for the Bulls.

Also hoping to see Hutch shoot with confidence. If he gets consistent with his jumper, he’s going to be fun to watch.

Should be a nice squad with out two rooks, Hutch and Carter.

Do you guys know whether the 2-way guys automatically play? If so -

White /
Alkins / Simons
Hutchison / Sampson
Happ /
WCJ / Gafford

I know some people found Happ to be a draftable prospect, but the lack of shooting combined with lack of athleticism put me off him as an NBA caliber guy.

I don't know if this will be the exact lineup, but I think they've set these guys up to fail a bit unless they get some better shooting around them.

I see no reason to play WC in the summer league, it's silly. Let the newbies have at it.

Paxson said he's playing at least a few. Guess because he had his rookie season cut so short.

If trades can't be completed until July 6, how will all these draft day trades effect summer league?

Do they need to keep the same guys on 2-way deals again? Alkins clearly wasn't a keeper. That said, I'd be very happy to sign Sampson to a vet min deal.

The defense in that group is fantastic. Excited to see them play.

If WCJ plays, I'm sure it'll be for 2 games at the most.

When did Paxson say that?

Can't remember where I saw it unfortunately. With tweets like the one above suggesting they expect him to play as well I'd expect it likely, if only for a couple of games.

Great signing in Ethan Happ! He has a variety of post-moves like a poor man's Kevin McHale. Not very athletic, but he could be a serviceable big!

what is nice about Ethan Happ is that he is a senior. He is ready to contribute right away. He's a big body, good rebounder, and good at getting baskets. Will be fun to see how well he plays.

I have a feeling that our two draft picks will do really well in SL...just based on their skill sets.

Tyler Hall (Rock Island, IL) & Ethan Happ (Rockridge, IL) are both good kids from my area. This is great news!

I want to see Carter Jr. and Gafford start in the frontcourt.

Hall is an interesting kid. Injuries hindered him this year but he's got some tools. Normally I don't put much stock in breaking Big Sky scoring records but he can play. Has a good pace about his offensive game and that shooting ability is no joke. His contested shot ability is pretty impressive too.

Defensively, he's a work in progress and his athleticism is a big meh. As is his length. Maybe, possibly he can develop into some sort of scoring option off the bench?

He absolutely should play in the summer league. WCJ hasn’t proved that he deserves to be an NBA Starter yet. He’s very young & still has a ways to go. He’s got to be out there showcasing that he’s our best option as a starting center. He’s still basically a newbie. Bulls usually have their second year players play in the summer league....he’s no exception.
