Sky's no longer falling in Boston. Much prefer Kemba over Kyrie for their group. If Hayward can regain form with a summer of work, they're right back in the mix.

This is good news. The Bulls and Rose are both better off avoiding the distraction that their second marriage would’ve brought.

If Rose ever dawns a Bulls uniform again, it will likely be on a contract that allows him to come in for a day and retire in Chicago.

I am dumbfounded that the Bulls (appear to be) putting a precedent on paying up for a high level big backup. Not only is it far less of a need than PG, but if you look at this list, there's so many decent backup bigs that we should absolutely be waiting out the market and getting a cheap one.

Some name's that will probably slip through the cracks without a substantial deal -

As for PG, just skimming through that list again, one guy that is not talked about at all on here is Rondo, and I think he'd be an awesome fit, both as a vet (we know how much the young guys liked him and how much he was said to have worked to help them) and a player (excellent at making guys better and controlling a unit, plays good defense most of the time at least, and is a solid spot up shooter at this point in his career).

From his comments about his time at the Bulls, maybe he's over the Bulls FO and doesn't want to deal with that again, but who knows. He doesn't seem like he's on the top tier of interest in this FA class, and if he's available for good value, I would be totally on board.

I grabbed the list and ordering from ESPN, so I take no credit there (good or bad).

All the news I have heard all off-season (not through sources, just public reports) is that the Bulls seem to view PG as a position of need. They did get White in the draft, so maybe they think the three headed monster of Arci, Dunn, and White gets it done, but my guess is that they are still looking for another guard.

I think a combo guard would fit pretty well for them as they also don't really have anyone to spell LaVine. In an ideal world someone who can play with LaVine and Coby would be perfect.

I've been starting the getting Rondo back bandwagon since the draft, maybe even before. So you're not alone.

Rondo seems like a horrible bit to me......spotty (improved, but still spotty) 3pt shooting, ball pounding type PG.

Ellington would be sad, Ellington has never been a PG. He has a career average of 1.1 apg and he has played decent minutes. He’s less of a PG than Blakeney. Blakeney will at least pretend to look for other people before he hoists it up, Ellington launches as soon it hits his fingertips.

Also Kyle O’Quinn is quite solid. And on the general board FA thread youngin Christian Wood! Who I think has a bunch of talent, is a FA (though I thought there was another year on his deal).

Point being : DONT OVERPAY FOR A RESERVE BIG! Though a guy who can be a long term 3rd big might be an exception in terms of being tighter with money.

How much do you think Robin Lopez will ask for? I'd be okay bringing him back at the right price.
