I wish we'd go after wings with a bit more length with these signings. A guy like Alfonso McKinnie if he hits offers the better upside.

You mean Windy City Bulls Alfonso McKinnie?

He has a Jimmy Butler way of moving around the court. Can cover a lot of ground quickly without looking like he's in a hurry.

2-way contracts are extra roster spots.

I don't know anything about him, but I'm pro anything that increases the chances of never having to watch Blakeney play again.

Teams are permitted to have two Two-way players on their roster at any given time, in addition to their 15-man regular season rosters.

Seems like a solid flier on an athlete who is developing as a basketball player. Might never get there, but if he does, could be something.

As far as I know you get 13 spots plus 2 two ways.

I dislike this move. We simply arent on need for another 2 way contract unless situation is solved with current ones. For instance Blakeney. What he is doing on roster still...

 how does one dislike a 2-way player signing?

Blakeney is on a guaranteed deal.

I found it strange to see film that included that many missed shots.

I wish him well I hope he's a secret weapon

Which come from 2-way player contract. After certain amount of NBA games it becomes guaranteed deal. And he simply doesnt deserve it.

Yes I'm under the impression that Blakeney has a guaranteed deal so he's on the roster unless we wave him or he has ankle soreness that lasts the entire season that suddenly gets better if for some reason five of our players get injured. <plan A.

I thought it was 15 players , 13 active per game + 2 inactive + two ways.

if they are activated we still have to do the 13 Max playrrs active any given game.

Honestly I'm not sure so I'd like an opinion on that

Blakeney's guaranteed deal came from the Bulls giving him a NBA contract last year.

He did get the contract right after Durant tweeted 'how is this guy not been signed already' or something along that line. Maybe we can trade him to the Nets and they can be best friends forever. Would help us a lot.

Looks like he can defend on the perimeter, I like that part. Hopefully we get to see him play in the summer league.

"freakish athlete," "lockdown defender potential," excellent size/length, 2-way deal meaning you can develop his spot up outside shot in the G-League. Isn't this exactly the kind of deal the Bulls should be using their 2-way slots on? A high ceiling type of guy? I mean if he ends up being a marginal offensive player (good enough to be on the court for his D and keep defenses honest), that's a pretty big win.

Plus as noted already, Bulls history in making guys like Nwaba, Harrison contributors (even if it's at times out of lack of other options) speaks to what they may be able to do with this kid.
