It sucks that so many of the better players are pulling out, but still, it will be good to see some NBA players in action in Australian soil either way.

I was so excited that, up til now, no Bulls have been "honored" to risk injury. If there's good news it's that there's a good chance he won't make the team and won't be likely to play heavy minutes even if he does.

It's not bad for their game. It also allows them to test themselves against the competition 1 on 1 while also having a chance to build a relationship with other players.
Which as we have seen in FA, comes in handy.

I would say that I think it messes up younger guys than older guys. The ball and the 3pt line are different, which I think mucks up their game as they readjust.

If you had told me that we were signing a Team USA player in the summer, I would have said “Get the **** outta here” and if you told me who it was, I would then proceed to say the same thing.

I don't think it messes them up that much. A lot of these guys have been on tourney teams before with the U-18 and select squads.
HS to College and College to Pro likely hampers them more.

How effective would he really be though? I think it’s more likely that a more established player / star would recruit him away from the Bulls. What exactly is there for LaVine to recruit to the Bulls?

Apparently Thad will not continue with the USA team to LA. Nor will Adebayo

cant help but feel a little discouraged that our prized free agent for the off season got cut from a pretty mediocre roster

maybe he just didnt fit, idk, but you would feel better if he made it and shined at fiba
