I like that its a short preseason schedule these days. Two weeks is enough time to get into the flow of the season. 4 weeks like in years past was too long.

So plenty of time to discuss the finer details of what could have been different if..., or even what would be different if... I also expect plenty of "not while the Reinsdorfs" and "not with this FO".

Wonder if lauri could match up with SF on some nights. If he could be a combo forward he could help the bulls win some matchups.

For example.
Game 2 Pelicans)

Hypothetical lineup-

Wcj better than Hayes
Otto less than Zion
Lauri better than Ingram

1. Coby less than Holiday
2.Zach better than Reddick

That's conjecture. Overall I think I feel more comfortable with:

Lauri/Hayes
Wcj/Zion
Zach/Ingram

Coby/Holiday
Otto/Reddick

Edit: just realized Otto probably isn't better than Reddick so I'm still thinking this one over.

Well the bulls look sunk in the water in this matchup.
Even with their best backcourt Zach and Otto, the bulls can't split any type of BC advantage.

So the best hope is that collective talent of the bulls FC could overcome their perceived disadvantages.

Example:
Lauri, Wcj, Zach being a better overall FC than Hayes ,Zion, Ingram. It's debatable, the case for Chicago is.

Zach better than Zion as 1st best
Lauri better than Ingram as 2nd best
Wcj better than Hayes as 3rd best.

Edit: just realized that Zach could beat out Reddick so I was wrong about it being impossible to split a backcourt matchup. Guess what confused me is that is that Reddick is still a better point guard than coby so I feel Pelicans could manipulate the advantage in the BC.
