I feel optimistic right now, and went with 36-40. In the summer I was thinking 32-ish, but the way these preseason games looked, my expectations went up a notch
From the basketball's perspective, travel is a nice pause from being pounded to the floor.

If we get 72+ games out of starters, 46 wins.

44-38 to 46-36 and a 6-8 seed in the playoffs.

I don't see why this isn't a .500 team, barring big injuries. It has 1st, 2nd, and 3rd options, potentially a 6th man microwave, and several solid defenders/role players. Honestly that sounds better than .500 but I don't want to get ahead of myself, let's see how the first month of the season looks.

45 . . . . if healthy.

National people and fans of other teams will be surprised by the Bulls. Its also going to be inconsistent as hell with some games being complete eggs and others where the shots fall looking like contenders.

I am thinking the target should be at minimum 0.500 with this team if healthy. If the offense continues to click like it did in the preseason, I can see a 50+ win season light at the end of the tunnel kindof thing.

This is my thought on the team as well. Though I’m going 43.

If healthy..... ESPN and TNT are going to regret not scheduling Bulls games.

I have a very particular thirst. 46-50.

If they stay healthy, yeah, I think they not only make the playoffs but maybe get a much higher seed than anyone would think.

I'm headed to the sports book tomorrow to bet the over.

I've got them in the mid 40's, maybe approaching 50 on the upside. It'll be a 2004-05 like turnaround (without the horrific start).

I think on the national level no one will be surprised. Every national podcast I have heard as the Bulls on the over and also has them fighting for a last playoff spot. Now 45 would shock most everyone but 38-42 I think would be the high end of expectations. The lack of national games is well the recent history of this team and they don't yet have a star to market, might be Zach after this year but still are looking for the guy. It's hard to say put aside your Sunday to see this try hard team with no one that is marquee.

If we're healthy, I think we can win 43-47 games.

So I'll also say 45 like coldfish.

Our rotation has a lot of players that can contribute.

43-47. So I guess that puts me at 45 wins.

There is a lot of consensus that we'll be good - if healthy.

But the IF is big there. So asking folks, what % of games do our starters play? I wonder what the over-under is there? Maybe 77% or 96 lost games among starters.

It seems kind of random to predict this year. I guess I could conceivably see them winning anywhere been 25 and 50 games.

I for sure would take the over on the 32.5 all day. I would not bet on the 45 ever. I would have a grabber if we went from 22 to 50 without adding a top 5 player in a season. If healthy around 40 seems pretty realistic.

One of the things that I think is most important for a team trying to get off to a good start is to have a soft schedule to start where you can feel good about the start and build on it. If you get off to a rough start, it just makes it hard to recoup. With that in mind, Bulls first 10 are fairly decent

@ Charlotte
@ Memphis
Toronto** (in Boston before, B2B; 3rd in 4th night for both teams)
@ New York
@ Cleveland
Detroit
@ Indiana
LA Lakers (last game of road trip)
@ Atlanta**
Houston
New York

** B2B

Some are gonna say "That's not that easy" but look at it again - the road games are all decently winnable and the home games are in good spots. So if the Bulls start 6-5 or 7-4 (which is entirely possible) with that start, they'll feel very good at the end of that run.

I like them in that 35-45 range that will depend on injuries.

Bulls dont have "easy schedule" at all. Regardless what type of team they play, good or bad, they are first still young and they play majority of first few games on a road. Not really formula for success. We dont play basically week or two at home. And then real teams start coming on our door.

If we are 0.500 after first 15 games it could be decent season.
