PG - The bum slayers

Nice game by Lauri, Felicio, Hutch and Kornet.

Lavine with some damn stupid shots...

We still make no adjustments, we keep blitzing allowing easy drives or wide open 3's...

Another meh win....

I was right. We should win this game and we did. I'll take it.

However, we have no big man defensive anchor. KAT went off for 40 points. If Felicio didn't have a great game, we would have lost.

LAvine with a couple really "wtf?!" shots. But also, won the game with shots made at end. Live and die by the Lavine I guess.

Hutch was really solid with his aggressiveness and confidence on offense. His defense was solid. Is he getting coached up? Maybe. Did commit a couple bad/weak fouls.

Good game. Lauri with some life. Lets see if he can keep it going. Felicio/kornet/hutch were great too! Zach did what needed to be done.

on to the next

Hutch started stringing good games together last year before being sidelined with injuries. He seems to have some good tools, excellent defender, solid rebounder, can pass, and can get in the paint. I’d expect to see him show improvement If he can manage to stay of the court.

I hate the term "bum slayer". We aren't good enough that we should be looking down our noses at any other team, or any win. We beat another lousy team, but that's better than losing to a lousy team. And MIN is a team with two alleged "stars" on it. Not a great win by any means, but it is a win.

Yeah at this point, “Bums slaying” would be more apt for the Bulls pulling out such wins.

KAT can score all those points, but man does he give it all up on the other end. We score anytime we drive and he’s protecting the paint.

Hutch still struggles with an actual game right now though. He does attack and get to the free throw line. Its something we need. But his biggest weakness is finishing on his drives. He has improved a lot this year in that regard. Still doesn't have good touch around the basket but its improving.

KAT reminds me of a more athletic Zach Randolph. He just has a real unorthodox game, even on his jumpers. You are just constantly in confusion. He is a hard cover.

But the Twolves biggest issue is Wiggans by far. If they both showed up night in and night out they could be a playoff team.

I said it when we drafted him... Hutch often throws up awkward attempts around the rim in hopes of drawing fouls. He got away with that a ton in college. In the NBA, he really needs to learn how to just attack the rim. He’s got a very fast and powerful leap to his game that you rarely see, he needs to learn to use that on his drives.

Beyond that, he still really needs to find a consistent jumper and that should be his priority if he can enter the off season healthy.

We're only 3 games out of the playoffs and a half a game behind 9th place Detroit. I assume we'll leapfrog them once they trade Drummond and Rose. Orlando is hanging on despite losing Isaac to an injury.

They should hire Pippen to train him this summer. Their body types are so similar. There's no reason not to tap into that resource.

real talk, that was the oddest coach behavior I've seen from Jim, what was with the hand on the neck? :noway:

He is an absolute buffoon. There is a time and a place to coach a team up and send a message, you don't do it at the end of a game when the game is over by calling a time out.

He is just an utter imbecile. I don't think I've disliked a Bulls head coach as much as I have him.

Also can’t agree with the PG thread title. At this point, any win is a good win considering we’re down two starters and have to play our third AND fourth string Cs 48 combined minutes.

If anything, tonight was an embarrassing loss for Minny given they’re fully healthy.
