That Chicago sky line should at least be added to our city edition Jersey games

So I am guessing Zach will just show up to the dunk contest wearing an 88’ Jordan jersey with short shorts?

Edit: and maybe compete?

Craig Hodges jersey?

This would be a moral victory.

Nope he didn't.

He's been that bad unfortunately.

It’s also because teams are separated by USA and World. Coby would have made it over several World players IMO.

I do think it’s crazy that they threw the Bulls no bones even in secondary contests like Rising Stars game. If Wendell was selected and couldn’t play, Coby should have been his replacement.

Yeah, Coby White should have been Wendell's replacement. Like they did Booker for Lilliard.

NBA is very stupid to not have a Bulls player participate in that rising stars game - especially when his stats are as good if not better than some of those players selected - and it's in Chicago.

NBA FAIL!!!

Here's the 360 dunk LaVine did during Wolves practice.

Indeed.

But I do hope it motivates Coby.

Not that selection to this game is what will define his future but it's pathetic that a 7th pick is unable to make this team. The standards for selection to this team is pretty low for a decent 1st year player. It's another sad reality of the putrid state of this organization.

If you were a top 4 seed, you usually don't have a representative in this game. The Bulls have failed in both.

The good part is there is nowhere to go but up.

Thanks, very impressive.

a 7th pick is often not going to be good enough to make that team given that they use both rookies and 2nd season players. particularly not an american-born player, who has miles more competition to make the american roster than international players do. and obviously the top draft picks are very frequently not the best performers. draft results are highly variable

also rookies are obviously at a disadvantage being selected 'cause they're not as good

Nope he didn't.

He's been that bad unfortunately.

He still deserved to play over Zion though. Guy missed so much time and they still put him in. Sure Zion is one of the best players in his class but still have to earn the spot not given just for ratings.

zion has been way more productive in 10 games than coby has been in 55

The USA vs. World thing is stupid because they put a bunch of players on the world team who didn't deserve it just because they weren't American. And since when is the USA not part of the World anyway? No reason that you couldn't have US players on the World team.

I liked it better when it was rookie vs. sophomore, because you could actually see how the draft classes measured up against eachother.

I’m not denying that Zion is way better but 10 games isn’t enough to make the team. That’s unfair to the other players who played most of the games. They just wanted him in for entertaining purposes.

nobody is putting the rising stars team on their resume. it's almost entirely about entertainment
