Coby doing Kobe things.
Lauri played well.
Otto struggled.
Wendell is still struggling,.
Shaq played well.
No defense was played.
On to the next.

About what one would expect. Two crappy teams playing, each without their lead scorer, the home team wins. At least Coby continues to show signs of being Ben Gordon, or something like that, as opposed to the rookie bust he looked like until recently.

So are we still a better team without Lavine?
I didn't think so.
Can't wait to see Lavine/Porter/Markkanen/Carter all together playing solid minutes. I want to see how well they play together.

I will take a 6'4 Ben Gordon with higher upside.

That core has no future. Maybe 2 of them will be here in 2 years.

Let Presti figure out which.

Well that was an embarrassing loss IMHO. Fractured team, on a back to back, integrating new players, etc. Boilenn is a complete pencil pushing stooge goof stiff. Thank goodness we cut the fat that was Jimmy/Thibs! We were really headed nowhere with those two, amirite? We deserve bonuses for getting rid of those bums. I think a month or two in the French Riviera is in order for the Pox, Garman, & Reinsbarf clans, eh guys??
We waited a long time to “see what we had”. We ain’t got squat. Everybody goes, save for Zach, C.white, Gafford, Harrison, Mokoka, Hutchison, and maybe Valentine, although I don’t care & wouldn’t pay him much. All it takes is a few in game defensive adjustments & he’s easy to stop. Truly one of the most unathletic people in the NBA
I really like Markkanen & want the best for him, but it’s not in Chicago. He needs to go somewhere with a sophisticated, coherent offensive system in place. The Bulls can’t integrate a talent like him at present moment. They have a bunch of raw sloppy iso low upside players that don’t fit, and a “coach” that can barely tie his own shoes
Bulls should have made a play for DLo. I know he wanted to be in Minn, but they could have tried. Why not? He is still very young & has relatively high upside
Matter of fact, I think the Wolves have a better future than we do. I still like culver (a lot), and with an incoming top pick, selecting someone like Edwards & building around KAT/DLo/Culver/Edwards could work out very well for them
Wolves commentators are ear-bleedingly atrocious. Not Bulls or Rockets bad (no one is), but holy god; these two idiots spent what felt like four minutes bickering over whether or not Malik Beasley looked like some actor

Boylen is likely fired after this season. I'm patient enough to give Lauri another chance under a better coach. My expectations are lowered regardless.

I’d actually bet Cobi & Gafford (and possibly Hutchison/Mokoka) are the only two guys from this current roster who are still in Chicago in 2 years. I’d put decent money on it

I seriously doubt that every single player that isn't a rookie will be gone.

For some people it always be time to trade Zach. Notice the handles that are not popping tonight since we lost. Compare it to Monday night...

If I am the new GM, I keep Lavine, Coby and Gafford and everyone else is disposable. You have your 2 scoring, 3 point shooting wings and your shot blocking rim protector. But I agree, someone else will have to stay; you have to have 14 on the roster, right?

Yep it's funny how people disappear and reappear. Well... not ha-ha funny.

Me too, if that is what Coby is. I don’t think Gordon is a good comp for reasons both flattering and unflattering to Coby.
He continues to look good, regardless.

Coby can score the rock. Boylen sucks. This team sucks. The guys who built this team are the worst. On to the next.

We lost because of the 3s not really anything else. We scored fine when you consider all the minute restrictions.

Coby reminds me of Starbury with less hops, better shooting
His upside is phenomenal
