It said he was no longer a Bulls Ambassador, which is something that was first reported in the Bulls media guide 7 years ago.

I think the final nail on the coffin was at the all-star events when fans started chanting fire GarPax as Lavine was having his interview. That was really embarrassing, to say the least. Kudos to Bulls fans for making this day possible. I was never on the hate club, but I am not adverse to a change of leadership.

The media members seemed rather dumbfounded when the fans started chanting, as if they were oblivious to what was happening with the franchise. I can see that kind of things leaves a guy like Paxson with many sleepless nights. It was hurtful to see.

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but I think it's significant that Paxson's new title is "Senior Advisor of Basketball Operations" and not something like "Special Assistant to the President." To me it means that he's in a staff position within Basketball Operations and therefore reporting to Karnisovas, not Michael Reinsdorf. It may not seem like much, but I'm glad Paxson's role is within Karnisovas's are of control.

what a bozo gar is. all he had to do was go along w/ whatever AK's vision is and he would have stayed on in some capacity?

What's awesome about this quote is that AK doesn't bother to say *who* he had a conversation with to make this decision. For all we know, he never spoke to Gar.

Let's not forget, Pax was a top 5 GM for the first half of his tenure. The guy made A TON of good moves, and his biggest misses (TT draft, signing Wallace) were all solid gambles.
