Favorite Bull of 2010's

Who was your one favorite player of the last decade? Of course, everyone has their own criteria, but which player did you enjoy watching the most during the last 10 years?

I voted Noah.

Rose was clearly the better and more spectacular player but Noah was the heart and soul of those teams.

Plus, he funked on Paul Pierce pretty hard that one time :)

Butler - he was the only one to completely surpass expectations and lead on and off court (you might not like his style, but still). Rose was a better player, but was no leader. Noah was a leader/hype man, but could not affect the game the same as Jimmy. Everybody else on the list was/is who we thought they were (not that special here).

I voted for Rose, but Noah is a really close second.

He's the first Bulls superstar since Jordan and he revitalized the franchise upon his arrival. Rose, Noah, Deng and Thibs put the Bulls back on the map of title contention. Too bad it was so short lived.

It asked for your favorite, not which one was the most accomplished or talented.

But yeah - Butler was great

I kind of think of Deng as more of a 2001-2010 guy, I guess. So I voted for Taj. Ignoring decades, I rank them this way as personal favorites:

Deng
Taj

Noah
Butler

LaVine
Gasol

Other

Rose
Felicio

Rose. He brought a special sense of hope to the city, although it was very short lived. You could tell whenever he was in the arena. That's why he still gets MVP chants to this day.

Noah is probably a close 2nd due to playing hard and making the most out of his talent, in addition to talking **** to LeBron.

1) Drose - easily the most fun I've had as an adult Bulls fan were his rookie through 2011 seasons. He made the Bulls relevant for the first and only time post MJ and he was amazing to watch.

2) Jimmy G - loved his come up and he was ridiculously good for us with some otherwise meh teams. Loved his early on swag before it started to appear egotistic'ish.
3) Jo - Drose's Pippen and just a completely unique and cool dude.

it would probably be noah but there were times toward the end when it was...not pleasant to watch him actually play basketball, even if it's not his fault his body failed him.

jimmy was the best mix of great at basketball and great personality. gotta give it to him

If you like these three things Jimmy should be at the top of the list, no?

Rose by far. If I’m to be honest, how much our fans overrate our players makes it difficult to appreciate certain guys.

My list is this- Rose, Omer, Taj, Jimmy, Lu, Jo. What should it look like if not for fans?

1. Rose.

2. Jimmy before he was overhyped or even acknowledged, was my favorite and would have stayed here. I thought he would be a star when everyone wanted to trade him. I’ve said the same about Lauri and may be wrong this time. We’ll see.

3. Jo would have been my third if not for fans way overrating him, touting him as an MVP level player, making him hard to appreciate. I got into quite a few arguments a couple of close friends, especially when they claimed that he was going to dominate Nene in the playoffs and secondly, about him potentially falling off. I was oracle-level right about both, in hindsight. He never dominated his matchups. He was a fantastic role player, no more.

4. Omer - other teams would become jumpshooting teams because of his defense.

5. Nate. I loved Nate. He provided us with much-needed shot creation and slashing. I was pissed that we let him walk.

I was a Jimmy fan when he first broke out, then I felt he went Hollywood and was going to pull a Kyrie until we traded him. His leadership skills left a lot to be desired.

Rose brought the bulls to their highest highs of the decade and their lowest of lows.

Outside of maybe a small number of Jimmy fans, I think if the poll was asking for the “best” player, Rose would get virtually every vote.

“Favorite” though is as subjective as it gets and fans will use a wide variety of criteria, both rational and irrational.

I still miss Jimmy. I would have loved to still have them. I think he's a legit 2 way star and I loved his attitude.

Rose had a couple of good years but was just sad in the end. It ended his career, love of the game and that group.
