I just can't ever get my hopes up for the lottery, because whenever I do, I'm always left disappointed. The only time things went well was when I forgot that it was lottery day and we ended up with the first pick (08).

I'm actually more excited for draft day, regardless of which pick we end up with, albeit not the best draft class, but still, there is always more hope with a young prospect.

Still, I believe.

Better forget about the lottery then!

My expectations is the Bulls will get a lottery pick lower than we want. Won't be mad, piss, disappointment or even annoying, it will be what it is.

I haven't done a deep dive into prospects, but I'm not impressed by what I've seen so far.

I haven't done a deep dive into prospects, but I'm not impressed by what I've seen so far.

Always better to have the 1st pick instead of the 7th, and it's not like there's a limit on how many times you can win the lottery.

Plus Bulls will likely have decreased odds next season anyways.

Bulls pick LaMelo Ball.

Unless the new FO identify a sleeper I'd immediately want to trade down. This is where a trade like the ATL Young trade would make sense

But there has been a report that most teams will generally want to trade down this year. But it's still likely we will have buyers that fall for a certain player that is available in our range. But most team will try to sell instead of buy so the market might be competitive.

It depends on how lottery night shakes out though.

This is about the least excited year I can remember in terms of crossing my fingers for some lottery luck. It's just not a year that can turn your franchise hopes around, and the overly superstitious would say it would be a waste for our luck to be wasted jumping the board on a non top heavy draft.

On the other hand, everything feels like it's coming up Millhouse for Bulls fans right now, so I feel kind of optimistic. If we can get LaMelo in particular, that would be a really exciting outcome.

Not this year. There only a handful of player that have the posibilty to contributing to an NBA team. I only really like 5-6 guys in this draft. Ironically they all might go in the top 6. I wouldn’t trade down in a Crappy draft. The top players may not be superstars but they have a chance to be better than the these lower tier prospects I’m looking at in this draft.

if the NBA gift the Bulls number 1 just like they did in 2008, they have chance to be relevant again with AKs quick retooling.

Not lottery picks but Paul Reed and Tyler Bey have a future being defensive playmakers.
