Also wtf Jae Crowder, instead of chasing title with Heat, he chooses $$$ and playoff hunting.

If we didn't draft PWill, I'd be pissed that we coulda nabbed crowder for 3/$30. Dude coulda taken Lauri's job. The Heat are gonna be worse without him come playoff time.

Without Bogdanovic I really don't like the Bucks' offseason so far. Overpaid for Holiday (which looked better when it seemed like they got Bogdanovic for next to nothing), paid Augustin and Connaughton 37 mil combined over 3 years and added Portis who, whatever he may cost, is probably not seeing the court in the playoffs.

That doesn't impress me if I'm Giannis.

Watch his Utah highlights

Highlights tell you nothing.

He hasn't been the same since his grusome leg injury, first game with Boston. In Utah he put his body on the line and was extremely athletic. In Boston he wasn't the same player.

Check again

Perhaps Hayward's game wasn't "based" on his athleticism, but it was certainly always a very important component. He was a costant dunk and chasedown block threat.

Guess in your mind athleticism is important to his game as well

I find myself wondering what Otto's market value would have been if he opted out? I sorta think the best comp out there is Grant @$20/yr. If Otto had a very good/healthy year, I wouldn't necessarily mind resigning him for around that (assuming we're gonna whiff in FA). If PWill ends up more 4 than 3, maybe I choose Otto over Lauri.

Rondo will be a good mentor for Kris.

We could signed Rondo, damn it..

Hawks now have Young, Rondo and Dunn on PG solid rotation..

So now they have Dunn, Young and Rondo.

I don't see Dunn playing all that many minutes, maybe he will play some at shooting guard on the defensive end. Or he splits time with Rondo to save Rondo for the playoffs, if they are in contention.

That's not bad. Offensively, they should have something there.

That's what I'm thinking. Kris can guard 1 through 3 with his wingspan. I would expect him to come off the bench and take on a variety of defensive assignments on the perimeter.

Milwaukee must be feeling the pressure now bigtime. Should have signed Malcolm last year and just moved Bledsoe and Hill in a package down the track for a Holiday or someone similar. Paying DJ 3/21 with the small Bobby signing after missing out of Bogdan is crushing.

Trae / Huerter / Gallinari / Collins / Capela
Dunn / Reddish / Hunter / Okongwu

And they're still in negotiation with Bog and Rondo.

The East is gonna be improved across the board with non-playoffs teams like Atlanta and Charlotte getting better via FA while we seem to be mostly standing pat and banking on internal improvements.

Gallo is certainly not a 3.

Hawks got better but still nothing special.

I think Pacers drop back. Celtics won’t be as good either without a big trade. Magic haven’t gotten better.

Bucks slightly better. Sixers much better. Heat weakened a bit. Nets unknown with KD coming back.

I really don't see it with this Hawks roster so far. Dunn makes far less sense with Rondo because you can't play them together, Gallo is their best 4 but Collins is still there and looking to get paid, their wings are all young and still pretty raw, Capela is now there but you just drafted Okongwu who might be better pretty soon. Just a weird mix of young talent and win-now pieces, many of which are pretty expensive.

Would have loved to see more patience there (same with Charlotte), but it's pretty obvious Schlenk is fighting for his job at this point.

I'm with you. I'm thinking they trade Collins and one or two of their wings for somebody like Beal.
