I feel like this is not a caps-worthy signing tbh

Meh.

He seems to be a veteran locker-room type of signing more than production on the court (which he can still provide some), which I'm definitely not opposed to.

We need more veterans who can still contribute, and I feel those will be the time of signings we end up making, and continue to allow the young players to develop.
Why so serious?

Now get a vet point guard. Maybe trade for Delon Wright.

League average shooter, can handle the ball, good leader.

Basically a reserve a player.

I honestly cant even picture what garrett temple does/looks like. And hes a 10 year vet.

Ole AK is really gonna push that "in AK I trust" phrase I've been seeing folks use around here. At least till the season starts.

Hopefully this is a depth piece because of a coming trade.

This should make Sato the guy being shipped out.

Rumor around the draft was he was being shopped.

Hot garbage. Horrible shooting %. 34 years old.

Positives: He’ll control the locker room.

A perennial “teammate of the year” nominee.

Reminds me of when we got Rasual Butler. On the down end of his career, but can still contribute somewhat.

I like the move. We needed a backup SG that can play defense and shoot since loosing Shaq & Dunn. 5mil one year rental to fill a need you take it. Now go get Monte Morris 8-)

I’ve always been a fan.

Solid guard. Can pass / shoot / play defense.

Good Vet.

I’m with the “like it” group. Similar to Justin Holiday “do-everything” “good enough” wing.

Scrub but seemingly good teammate.

Not sure why we can't just use the vet min for this purpose but whatever.

His contract is insignificant enough to be anything useful as contributor on court. This is clearly development vet signing who can provide good atmosphere during practices. Extension of coaches. And for that you dont need big name or useful player to steal minutes from young guys. Bulls have enough of those. Like Thad who complained about the role last year.
