"He's the greatest teammate I've ever had," Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal said in early August. "He's a true brother to me, a true mentor. I always credit him for teaching me how to be a true professional in the game of basketball and in the NBA."

Vet presence on a 1 year deal. Not bad.

This is probably one of the biggest reasons why they signed him.

The front office clearly wants to ensure the young players have a clear path to minutes and ultimately development, and they want to add veterans to compliment and mentor the young players.

I've said in other posts that we need more veterans that these young players can lean on, and this signing is emphasises that.
Why so serious?

If this signing means we’re under no delusions about making the playoffs this year, I’m for it.

We need an earnest crack at the 2021 draft.

He used to kill us regularly lol

Don't mind the signing. Cheap addition doesn't hurt.

Truth, fact is, if Temple provides nothing but practice time mentorship and assistance with pushing the younger players to further development sign me up.

I wonder if Temple can still defend? If so, this could a real solid signing.

Little fact: Temple was teammates with Tyrus Thomas in college.

I like Garrett Temple.

I thought Plumlee or Grant might be pursued, but both got overpaid and I totally agree with staying out the FA flea-market.

I had to double check which team he played on (not sacremento!)

I couldn't pick him out in a lineup either.

Sigh, I hope bossman know what hes doing.

Is it just me or do Garrett Temple, Otto, and Denzel all look kinda similar? Thank God Funk isn't with us anymore.

Super uninspiring move. Not even that great of a shooter. Guess this means no more Denzel?

I am thinking of a deal for a PG with Hutchison involved.

Honestly, I want Dotson to play. I think DJ Augustin would be perfect for 1st half of season to let Dotson get acclimated.

I think it's a solid move. Locker room leader that Thaddeus Young was supposed to be. I'd give the backup 2 spot to Valentine because he's the better passer, better 3pt shooter and still has a small chance to get better. If Val doesn't bring it though then we have a more athletic, quicker first step, better on ball defending vet ready to step in.

Culture signing. Which we need. Cheap and a 1 year deal.

Seems solid.

Good move as this team doesn’t have a competent backup shooting guard and he can also play 3 if the Bulls are in a bind there, which they certainly will be at some point.

Surprised to see we likely won't be adding a vet PG. Not sure if anyone worthwhile was out there.

Ak was adamant about improving our pg rotation and we didn't draft a pg. I heard mentions of the bulls looking to get a veteran pg, but if i'm not mistaken, with this signing and if valentine ops in we will have a full roster, so maybe a trade is in the works.
