What's next, a jersey in every color for every team?

What a win for the Raptors without Siakam and Lowry. Loved the 4 wings + VanVleet lineups Nurse ran for most of the game. Switched almost everything on defense, Anunoby and Stanley Johnson were incredible against Sabonis. True team effort on both ends with great coaching.

Pacers will weather the storm and be in the hunt for playoff play in. Raps prob the same but a bit better. Lamb will help Pacers a lot.

I expect Magic Hawks and Cavs to really struggle when their schedule gets tough.

My guess is the second half schedule is going to be alot tighter. Washington has missed like 6 games.

I honestly dont think all of the games will be recovered. 6 games is like 2 weeks of a season.

I haven't watched much of the Celtics. Does Brown look completely different? Or is his shot just falling?

Brown's career PER progression -

10.3
13.6
13.5
16.9
26.2 (!)

He's a hard-nosed, versatile two-way player who was useful even at the 13 level, and outright good when at 16.9. At 26.2, he's an MVP candidate. I haven't watched Boston this year but yes, your question, is on point. The guy is playing at a whole different level. He's taking WAY more shots than ever before, with much higher efficiency, his assists have jumped, his steals are up, his free throw attempts are up. He is just across-the-board killing it.

SO are the Pels tanking? Griffin trying to add another superstar to Zion then throw all those picks in a trade for another star?

They look awful and Lonzo is the same disappointing Lonzo.

I'm hoping we see the same progression with PW. Only, a little quicker:)

Brown having Tatum out helped him get alot more shots.

It's partly his shot, and partly having a bigger role with Hayward and one of Kemba/Tatum both gone. There's no way he's going to keep shooting like he's prime Steph, but he is legit and deserves the bigger role. It's not like he's just making open shots from all that Smart/Thompson/Theis gravity.

Cam Reddish fans, what's your thoughts on his current play in year 2? 35.8% FG, 29.9% 3's, PER 9.8. We got into this debate many times, but I pointed out that he was arguably the worst shooting player (FG% wise) to be drafted in the past 15 years. That was a major red flag, and he's done nothing to alleviate that concern.

He is what most people were expecting besides the people who got caught up in the high school hype. Can he improve? Sure but like wiggins it will take years..maybe never.

Fun fact: He shot sub 40% in EYBL too.

I actually think Reddish can still be solid, but he's a 4th/5th option pure 3/D guy.

But what makes people believe that he'll be able to shoot? I mean, Shaq Harrison and Nwaba would be pretty good if they could shoot! But they can't.
Just like Reddish, so far.

Maybe. I don't know how to predict such things.

Brown will probably come down to earth, but 25% into this season his career looks to have skipped a step, jumping straight from "good starter" (last year) to "superstar" (this year), without him ever being a star. We'll see if he can keep up anything like this level.
