Lonzo Ball Thread (UPDATE: Bulls Offer Sato + 2nd Round picks)

Playing w the Capulator, seems to me like if the Bulls Renounce Lauri/Felicio, Denzel, Temple, Kornet, Mokoka, Dotson, then decline options on/renounce Wagner, Arc, Troy Brown, team can free up ~$16M in cap space. Wave/Stretch Thad and Sato and that increases to $35M. So potentially run with Vuc, Zach, Aminu, PW, Coby, Max guy, 7 min guys. If you think that's a meaningful team.

That was the tweet before Hutch+Gaff trade. Bulls indeed weren't done by then yet. Doesn't mean Lauri doesn't get moved still, but personally I don't think AK wants to move him now.

Ball for Lauri swap makes sense. But if the Pels want more, then we'd easily be overpaying. I wouldn't do that. I'm not sure if AKMEBD are out on Lauri as much as they obviously were on WCJ (benched), Hutch (??), and Gafford (DNPs and Kornet playing over him).

I'm personally good either way. Lonzo would help our playmaking issues, but I can also see why they would want to hold on to Lauri especially now that he can squarely be a 3rd option behind Zach and Vuc. That's kinda like his ideal role IMO.

Shame we couldn't at least get Rubio. We've made a step in the right direction, but PG is still a big weakness. Hopefully, Coby starts to settle in now that the deadline has passed.
