Worst 3 Losses This Year?

Post#1 » by pipfan » Fri Apr 9, 2021 4:50 pm

Now that we are not terrible anymore, the games count. And I feel like we have had A LOT of bad losses, for many reasons. Sometimes, you just lose-off shooting, hot opponent, better team, schedule unkind. An average team like us will lose plenty. But this year I feel like we have had A BUNCH of crazy losses. Which 3 have been the worse for us-for whatever reason?

In order:

1. Golden State - Should have been a 5 second and also an offensive foul on the screen plus its Damion freaking Lee who hit it
2. OKC - had no business blowing a lead to them plus some bad call toward the end of the game
3. Portland - Refs screwed us here too big time but Lillard hit 2 incredible shots

HM - Denver was really tough. CLE and WAS were just bad games by teams we really should have beaten. The blown 20 point lead at home vs SA should be up there too

Portland and Golden State were the 2 worst, and especially the GS one where the scrub D Lee out of all players beats you.

There are also 3 games the Bulls very easily could have lost. The one against Detroit where they were down 25 points and came all the way back to win. Then there was the game right before that game where they needed overtime to beat the Pacers. About a week after that game they needed overtime to beat Minnesota. The Bulls could have easily lost all 3 of those games. There have also been numerous games where key guys from the other team were out and the Bulls benefited. The last game against Toronto comes to mind where both Lowry and Van Vleet were out. Everything evens out in the end.
