Welp, that effectively puts the season on ice.

Health wise hope he is okay but for Bulls' sake, this is good news. He has that very bum ankle and won't rest so now he will be forced to rest and get that ankle healed up.

Bulls get to see how everyone else plays in his absence. Hopefully we continue to lose and luck into that top 4 pick.

The obvious reaction here is the Bulls need to tank rest of season. The worst possible scenario would be finishing 10th in the draft lottery. They need as good of a chance as possible to finish top 4.

Weird things happen when people are out though.

The rest of the team will feel the need to actually contribute offensively and it just balances out. Its like when we were missing Sato, Lauri, Wendell and Otto and we were still winning games.

It will be interesting to see who starts. Coby? Brown? Or bring Lauri back from the bench and mix things up completely.

If LaVine is out and he played yesterday, it's likely he's not the only one on the Bulls that has this. Could be looking at a complete shutdown or a 8-9 man team.

Man, if they end up not quite getting a top-4 pick,this has great potential to end very badly.

We still had Zach Lavine though and he was on a tear.
We will probably keep it close but in the 4th, we will have a collapse unless we are lucky.

Best wishes to Zach. I hope it's just exposure and not infection.

As for the season, this is a mercy killing.

Figured it was a matter of time before Zach entered the protocol. Just really tough to go for a whole season without being exposed in some way or another with all of the travel and such.

Hope he doesn't get sick but safe > sorry.
